On the case whereby Kishi has been accused of overhyping the abilities of some of the characters that Kabuto revived using the Edo tensei/Summoning: Impure World Resurrection technique just to have them killed off by insignificant characters.

We have to consider that most of the resurrected characters were angry at being awoken and were complying with the Allied Shinobi forces and therefore, the fights being easily won. I've raising this point because ive seen several people underrating the shinobi's resurrected just because they were killed quite easily. And you'd also have to consider that, after all that hyping, if he were to play out the abilities each Edo tensei had, the manga would just go on and on and on and on and on like this thread. Enough said.

True. But don't forget that one of the main points that Kishi tries to get across is how the new generation always surpasses the old one. They may have been powerful during their time, but the times are a' changin'.

Also knowledge is power, specially in the ninja world. It can decide the outcome of the battle.

i agree with you, however we've seen the abilities of the Old Generation and the abilities of the younger generation. The point I'm trying to drive home is that, with a few exceptions in the younger generation, The Older generation > younger generation

The younger generation is also, well young. They still need time to develop and have potential to become much stronger.

Its like with sports. Records that were thought to be unbeatable get broken all the time.
