Having your own sound and constantly changing it is two different things in other words we are talking about different things. And if what you said is true then Future and everyone else who uses autotune for any reason is unoriginal since T-pain was the first to do it and be a rapper. And who ever was the first singer to need it.

constantly changing to other ppl sounds still means you dont have your own :kk: Stop with the oversimplification, you can use autotune and still have your own sound, tpain doesn't sound like future who doesn't sound like young thug. But Travis with his heavy auto tune use still comes out sounding like cudi, west and future.

Do you get what I'm saying that doesn't make sense to say that. No one likes hipsters and people/artists do what makes them successful or whatever is trending so how can you be mad for people switching to stay relevant.

Don't get me wrong i fcks with rodeo, but i cant say hes better than kendrick, nor can i say he has more appeal than drake. His production is on point but rapping wise he still sound to much like kanye/cudi. Especially on tracks like Piss in yo grave, or Ok Allright. Only reason i pointed him out was cuz of dude.

Since you guys are discussing Travis Scott here's my opinion on him. He's TRASH. Dumpster juice trash. His lyrics are callow and are the opposite of introspective. His lyrics are weak and sound like a soundcloud rapper made them. He spends most of the time making weird noises in the background instead of talking. And when he does talk...oh God! The autotune! It's so much. It's like took a shower in autotune and then when he got out he dried himself in a towel of autotune. It's ridiculous and no one needs as much autotune as he uses. Did I mention he can't even rap? He recently released Birds in the Trap Sing Mcknight which was a huge disappointment to me. Most of the tracks were dominated by the featured artists. The song's were like 80% noise in the background and a few lyrics. His lyrics are so generic that it's not even funny. If I wanted to listen to mainly beats then I would buy an instrumental album. Some idiots I was talking to earlier today said he creates "vibe music". Vibe music? Is that the new excuse to have elementary lyrics and tons of autotune?

Man Travis is trash. I only like the songs he has people featured on.
