All the Kazegages are really powerful, but I'd have to say the Hokages would win.
The third, fourth and fifth Kazegage use very similar abilities; sand (although different types). Whereas the Hokages are all different and unique in their abilities. So it would be rather tough for the Kazekages to counter them all.

We know the third kazekage is their best, and we know that sasori>third kazekage. So ask yourself if the 5 hokages can beat 5 sasoris? The answer should be pretty obvious.

But wouldn't the second hokage ( forgot the dude's name ) would use water so that sand wave is like useless I guess

Water alone hasn't shown to be enough to stop sand, and even if it did (which has not shown to be the case) he could probably only stop Gaaras. And that's a big if, Gaara can pull enough sand to nearly cover Sunagakure. That was a long time ago to, he can probably do even more now. Plus you still have the golden sand and iron sand. The wave would be ****ing huge man. lol

We don't know anything about the first and second kazekage. But as much as we know about the third,Gaara's father and Gaara,they have similar abilities and they could be a perfect combination team against anyone with iron sand,gold dust and sand.That's the point,a good team,because this isn't 1 vs 1.Teams have to cooperate to win and kazekages can take advantage of this.
How do you know that Sasori > Third Kazekage? It was never stated that they had a full blown battle, he most likely poisoned the third. If they would have battled do you really think no one in the village would've noticed?

2 reasons. The first is because he defeated the third kazekage. The second is because he has the third kazekage in his arsenal.
And not all battles have to be fullblown, massive destruction to know whom is stronger.

Its possible that sasori threatened to attack the village if the third didn't come out and fight him.

Raikages is too much. Hell the third Raikage alone would be too much for Tsunade and Sarutobi.

How did he "defeat" him is the question? It was never stated, for all we know he could have killed one of his bodyguards, made him a puppet and poisoned him when they were alone. And if that's the case, how does that make him better than the Third Kazekage skill wise? Looks like you're trying to make it seem as if they fought one on one Sasori would destroy him when we don't even know what really occurred.
Besides, if he did lose to Sasori how does that make him weak? Sasori can arguably beat each Hokage except the first.

I don't see Sarutobi winning against the 3rd Raikage. He could not even beat Lord Orochimaru. If all the Raikages were to fight together nobody is going to beat them. (Besides SO6P)

It's true that we don't know how the fight went on given the amount of information we've received about it. But considering that the third kazekage would have been the first powerful character to die by such means, the hype of sasori killing the third, and the fact that sasori has the third in his arsenal, wouldn't you say its a lot more likely that sasori > the third kazekage than the other way around?
Of course there is no 100% proof of sasori > third kazekage, which is what you've proved, but IMO the evidence points in that direction a lot more than the alternative.
And do you really think sasori can beat the second, third and fourth?
