Lately I've been getting into Battle Angel Alita again. Didn't really know where to post this type of stuff, but I did want to compile a few feats to use in later debates. Gonna start here, where we see Alita save Zazie from a terrible condition.
The overall situation is quite simple. We see
Well, Alita, being the good samaritan that she is, decided to help Zazie out. The series itself decided to give us a nice little play-by-play of this action [
As the scans tell us, there was "tens of thousands" of solition waves that would each need to be counteracted. It doesn't specify how many, so for the sake of lowball, we'll just say 20,000 waves. One punch for each wave. We have 20,000 punches, each traveling roughly 1 meter (about how far back she would have to pull her arm, before thrusting it forward). That gives us 20,000 meters that Alita was able to throw in the span of 1/340th of a second. Now round that out, and that totals 6,800,000 meters per second, or 6,800 KM/s.
That gives us a cool 19,826x the speed of sound. Mach 20K Alita sounds nice to me
Also would like to point out one more minor note about the feat (

3 decades (for the sake of lowball since we only know it was "several" decades).
Alita's ability to decipher the Vectors (let alone counter them) showed her mental processing speed to be 946,080,000x than the entire scientific base for the Martian empire. That's almost a billion times the processing speed.
