Aliens issue

It has been heard out there by me that a lot of people don't like the fact that Naruto, a series that all this long time has been about Ninjas, may have end up trying on the aliens.

I beg you not to get hysterical, stay calm and relaxed since I don't think it is going to be a wrong move from Kishimoto's part (if it eventually turns out to be that the plot goes that path).



I think that this way of feeling such issue may come from the conventional way of seeing the aliens ;pretty much like this:

Yet I don't think that will be the case; I lean more towards a Japanese alt culture way of seeing them (let's remember all the Mangekyō Sharingan powers such as the Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu or Susanoo; all of them are Japanese deities), in a similar manner to that of the well known Tale of the Bamboo Cutter:

I would feel like Kishi is writing a completely new story. It would be a DBZ ripoff and the potential of such a plotline is not much in my opinion.

Aye¡ But I'm not talking about a whole new story, but only a few references to the Japanese mythology.

In fact, extending the story with new arcs (just like Toriyama did with Dragon Ball Z) would be a ghastly pain in the ass for me (and for pretty much everyone, I guess)

The transition from Ninjas to Aliens is more than enough to ruin the whole story. From shinobi villages to intergalactic warfare ? I would rather stop reading.
