As you can see, Sasuke summons the hawk to avoid the lava. Which is odd, since i definately remember all living creatures on the earth being placed under a genjutsu and fed to an evil tree.

The hawk was desummoned to wherever it comes from, like all other summons, after Madara stabbed Sasuke. But wherever is comes from must still be earth right? Nope. If it was on earth at the time, it would be under Infinite Tsukiyomi, and would at least of fallen for a bit after sasuke summoned it. Therefore, it must have been on another planet.

TL;DR The Rinnehawk is an alien, sent to earth as an egg to destroy all human civilisation.

I know that, but no one was released from IT. Why would the Rinnehawk be any different? The only explanation was that it was never hit with it.
