"What The Hell is Going On?"

Kyle's eyes were heavy as he reached out hoping to find his phone somewhere. The buzzing was doing his head in. He finally found it under the numerous blanket folds, they were all like mini waves on top of the mattress. He'd gotten a text message, which was really strange because the only person who ever texted him was Anna. And she was lying right beside him, asleep. He managed to pry his eyelids open just enough to focus his vision on the blurry screen. The text was from... No it couldn't possibly be from. His Father.

He shot up out of the bed, eyes now fully open and bulging out of his eye sockets with shock. He didn't understand how could his Father have sent him a text message. He swung his upper body around to shake Anna awake but she wasn't there. She must already be awake Kyle thought so he scrambled out of the bed falling off and landing flat on his face. He rolled over and pulled himself up, jumping for the door and swinging it open.

"Anna! Something really weird just happened!" He shouted to a completely empty apartment.

It must be a dream he thought to himself so right when that thought occurred to him he immediately bashed his head into the dry wall next to him. It didn't wake him up, so he now had two things. A bruised head and a serious predicament. With all that's been going through his head he had forgotten to actually read the text so he looked at his phone again and opened the message. It said...

Go to your Father's grave right now!
or I'll kill your little friend!

Kyle's grip tightened on his phone as he closed the lid shut and shoved it into his pocket. Without wasting a second he ran to the door, pulled on his shoes and sped out the door.

It was a freezing cold night and by the time Kyle had reached the cemetery he was like an icicle. His hands, feet and head were all exposed to the chill cold of a freezing winter's night. Te gate was locked. Perfect. He walked away from the gate, stopped then turned around to get a good view of the entire front wall. He stood there for a second examining where the best place was to try and climb.

He found a suitable place but he needed a running start as it was pretty high. With his hands buried deep in his pockets he sprinted full speed at the massive wall. He jumped straight at the wall intending to pull his hands out of his pockets and grabbing onto a small ledge. His body wouldn't obey the instructions his mind was giving it. So he ended up smashing straight into the wall almost like a human wrecking ball. He could never forgive his hopeless clumsiness.

Now back up for a second try, his hands outside of his pockets and at his sides. He tried not to let the pain from his bloody nose distract him as he was running straight at the wall again. This time it worked, he managed to latch his fingers onto the small ledge and pull himself up. He found two spots to get a foot hold also. He was on his way up and when he got to the top all he had to worry about was the huge drop but it couldn't be that big he thought to himself.

When he got to the top and looked down, he decided to make up a new rule. Never listen to myself. He really didn't want to jump at all so he sat there and argued with himself. He did try and climb down but the other side was flat due to the construction a few weeks ago. Just his luck.

He could see his Dad's grave from here and as soon as he spotted it, his eyes narrowed and he became very focused. He looked down at the jump and now it didn't seem so big, merely a small obstacle in the way of his goal. Why should he let it stop him or delay him any longer? He leaped from the wall and as he fell he kept a straight face. Until the impact. When he hit the ground his focus was lost and his confidence shattered.

"Ow! That really really hurt" He moaned as he dragged himself along the ground towards the grave.

Once he reached the grave he stopped performing and got up from the ground hitting all of the dirt and dust off his clothes. The thing that immediately caught his eye was his Father's tie blowing in the wind. He stood there staring at it with a complacent expression. He had tied it around a small metal pole beside the head stone exactly eight years ago. The buzzing from his phone brought him back to reality so he took it out of his pocket and read the text message.

Retrieve the tie and await further instructions

He did as he was told and untied the tie from the pole and held it in his hand. He stood there waiting for his next set of instructions in the freezing cold. He was wearing nothing but a white shirt, schoolbag, black trousers and black converse with white laces. What he called his school uniform. He decided to tie the tie around his neck because he always thought it looked cool on his Dad. As he finished tying the tie he noticed something odd about his hands, it like the were becoming distorted and transparent. He thought it was something wrong with his vision so he tried rubbing his eyes but his hands went right through his head. His entire body was becoming distorted and very transparent it was like he was disappearing.

"What the hell is going on," he muttered to himself as everything went dark. "Am I dea..." His vision came back and he was on his hands and knees on top of a bed that looked like it was fit for royalty. He realised that he wasn't only on top of a bed but another person, a girl about his age. He was staring right at her. She had long, straight, dark scarlet red hair unlike any hair colour he's seen on a person before.

She slowly opened her eyes and yawned right in Kyle's shocked and wide eyed face. Kyle thought she had beautiful, sparkling scarlet red eyes and he gazed into them as she opened her eyes fully and saw him. blood from his bleeding nose dripped onto her face and her eyes widened.

"PERV!!!" She screamed punching Kyle in the face.

The force was enough to tip a full sized cow. It sent Kyle flying off the bed and onto the floor, face first. She panicked and began frantically wiping the small drop of blood off her face while shouting for help. Kyle lay dazed on the floor looking up at the ceiling wondering just what the hell was going on.
