Looks: Faceless and mysterious, A Black Mage's existence is whimsical with a touch of mystique, and Alatar’s looks reflect that. Black Mage isn't particularly thick or particularly thin. He’s much taller than most of the Mages in the Black Mage organization, being around 6’6 and athletic. Though his attire wouldn’t show this at all. Most interestingly, however, is the fact that he never shows his face, and instead keeps it shrouded in a black mask which stretches all the way around to the back of his head. The mask is utterly featureless with the exception of two large, yellow eyes, which he indeed sees out of.
He wears a purplish-black cloak over a purple shirt and blue-purple pants. At his waist, he wears a large leather belt with several pouches attached to it, as well as matching leather boots and gloves. Although he occasionally switches hats, he typically wears a straw wizard hat in a color that matches his cloak. To round off his wizardly appearance, he carries a somewhat gnarled wand.
Personality: Al basically embodies the traits of what a Ravenclaw is, but very overdramatized. He’s a chaotic neutral, only taking part in worldly events if he finds it entertaining or he feels his presence is much needed. He is extremely witty and clever, which is shown with how creative he is with his magic usage in everyday life. At times he can seem completely oblivious to the world around him, usually when he is self absorbed in having fun with certain people or things he is occupied with; Though he seemingly always gets himself out of pinches with rationally calculated quick thinking. All in all, he’s skilled, arrogant, Unique in his own way and is always open to learn new things to get ahead of the next person by any means..
Even though Alatar was sorted into the Ravenclaw house, he takes on a lot of traits that coincide with Slytherin and the other houses also; Most recognizable is his ambition and determination overall in life. His willingness to do whatever it takes for success (whether personal success or success in general) is another trait that he takes on in a similar way to Slytherin house members. When it comes to the other houses, Alatar only takes on the traits in a minor way. Such as having a sense of bravery, even though it has grown into more of an arrogance (as a Ravenclaw would be). And also having a decent knack for patience (usually only being patient when he knows he’ll gain something out of it in the end).

Increased Tracking Resistance:
The user is able to create a distortion that slows the opponent's tracking, exerting a force that reduces their ability to track. This causes a removal of the default +4 Tracking boost granted to biographies, lowering their base tracking. This applies to all types of Sensory.

Yang Specialist:
Users will gain heightened vitality translating to 1000 chakra increase to their natural reserves. As well, their physical durability increases significantly, allowing them to reduce up C-rank damage (30 dmg) from physically damaging techniques like any nin, tai, and kenjutsu. As well, they are immune to recoil damage from techniques that cause it like Forbidden, though they still succumb to the jutsu's other subscribed affects.

Background Info
History:
“In days long past, there existed an ancient clan and arcane art known as mahou or magic. Those who learned to wield this instrument of power came to be called wizards, out of both fear and respect for their gift. Yet great power served to corrupt the judgment of mortal man, and so he unknowingly set out upon the path of ruin. Adventurers who carry a wand will become agents of change, able to use dark magic or pure magic to help or destroy others.”
Unsurprisingly, not much is known of Alatar’s past. Or at least most of it has been shrouded in mystery or simply hidden from being public knowledge. Both of Alatar’s parents were pure blood Wizards and were even seen as gifted when it came to using magic. His father was a part of a secret group known as “Black Mages”; Upbringing valuable Wizards for personal reasons that are kept hidden. Usually the Black Mages were neutral or Good when aligning, but Alatar had a chaotic streak to him; Wishing to learn much more than the Black mages could offer. This prompted him to enroll in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he would further his education of the world of magic. Once graduating from there, he took his wisdom from the black Mages and knowledge from Hogwarts and began a new adventure to seek new things and expand his mind of magic.

Weaponry:
During his travels, Alatar has learned that even though he is a Wizard and possesses magic, weapons outside of his wand are sometimes needed if he was going to be resourceful as possible. With this in mind he always keeps a set amount of specific weaponry on his person. This ranges from the basics such as kunai, shuriken etc to his more unique weapons such as Doku Yoji, his Harmonic Ninja Tool.
Doku Yoji or better known as "Poison Taster" is a specialized sword that belongs to Shady. It is unique in the fact that it is 1 of very few rare weapons that were dubbed "Harmonic Ninja Tools". It is rumored that the weapon was first stumbled upon as a simple rock with feint glimmers of pink within it. Once Shady came in possession of said rock, it harmonized with his chakra and became a weapon that fit him best; A basic katana that has a handle wrapped in bandages with no guard, and a blade that gives off a purple/pink hue when reflecting any sort of light. When Harmonizing with Shady, Doku Yoji awakened an ability to use Poison Ninjutsu when weilded by him, gifting the young shinobi another asset within his arsenal.
Wands:
The basic weapon any Kisei possesses, allows them to channel their chakra to perform techniques and use Mahou and certain Ninjutsu without the requirements generally associated with these, instead using verbal commands known as incantations or, in some cases, movements. They are made from wood from the Jubi's dormant form and amplified and augmented by special chakra based items. Al’s personal wand consists of Rosewood and Thestral-Tail Hair, specializing in Transfiguration and being compatible with any element. Being a fairly powerful wizard, Al is skilled in the field of Legilimency. He is able to sift through a person's mind with ease, and read their thoughts; Sometimes even happening without him willing it to. Additionally, he is a distinguished Potions master, having two of the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw potions with him at all times. Finally, Al is a Head of House. His skills in Mahou usage are only a shade below that of the Headmaster. Al was always interested in the potential that Dark Arts had magically, thus has been categorized as a Dark Wizard due to his deep studies of the art.
