A lot of the stuff that happens in Naruto is INSPIRED by DBZ. Akira personally thought up tons of what are now common manga/anime themes.

no he didnt. toriyama copied alot of story elements that have always been around. dragon ball is based on chinese legends, jackie chan movies and the terminator.

Akira is a legend , because he gave us DBZ & without him there would be no Naruto nor One Piece.

and without drunken master, there would be no dragon ball. and no toei gave us z. akira gave us dragon ball. honestly are you a db fan or not?

Akira/ Vegeta ; Kishimoto/ Sasuke (Both Evil/Good Co Main Characters)

Akira/ Frieza ; Kishimoto/ Orochimaru (Both thought to be main villain; also wannabe
immortals)

Akira/ Senzu Beans ; Kishimoto/ Food Pills (Both energy replenishing)

I actually like Akira's artwork better, Naruto's artwork was kind of bad in the original manga at first, but in Shippuden it has improved drastically (I'm not talking about the anime drawings, because then I would be stating the opposite.)

As for the story I prefer Kishi, because while it's not the best story I've ever heard of, I don't find it AS predictable as DB/DBZ/DBGT's story.

no he didnt. its mostly from japanese legends. Orochi, totsuka, tailed beasts, tsukiyomi. its all from ancient legends.

goku isnt anything like naruto except maybe in intelligence and love of food.
goku is a naive mountain boy who lives to fight even at the cost of his friends, just for the sake of pushing his limits.
naruto is a goofy hyperactive kid whos lovestruck and wants to be respected. he also completely pales in comparison to goku in terms of battle intelligence and willpower.

lmao, that speaks for basically any anti hero character ever. sasuke is meant to be the typical rival character but developed later on into a full fledged final villain.
vegeta was always at first a villain and later became a hero. totally different character arcs and personalities.
vegeta is a loud obnoxious arrogant cocky little douchebag always boasting about his bloodline and never learning from his mistakes.
sasuke is a cool calm collected battle genius who left his village in search of justice against his evil brother and slowly became consumed by said revenge.

freeza IS the main villain.hes responsible for most of what went on in gokus life. the only one who could compete is gero. oro is the driving force behind just part 1. he fades from importance later on. tobi was always main villain ever since he appeared. and oro hasnt died has he?

again thats in alot of fiction. healing pills even exist in real life.
