Keep in mind that this jutsu is only short range, so I would not necessarily recommend using it, but you can easily distract your opponent in the first few turns (as it requires one full turn for people to fall asleep, and if they do, it is instant death for them) with some other jutsus as you cast this one.

This next jutsu is somewhat simple, but very deadly.
Begin in the same manner, by sending your chakra to overtake my clone's five senses (no, it does not affect you, haha), and then snuff out his vision, making him believe that he had been transported into a world of complete darkness. (Only works on the eyes, nowhere else.)

*I begin channeling my chakra towards your clone and begin taking over his senses mainly vision, I begin making him believe that everything has gone pitch black and is now in a complete disadvantage as I run behind him and cut his head off*

So how might this affect the user in battle? What situations might you find this appropriate to use?

Hmn I don't think it would affect the user but it would screw the enemy up because they can't see which in most cases would mostly assure a victims death

I personally would use this to either capture our sure kill an opponent plus it would be useful with my gentle fist giving me a sure hit since most people depend mainly mostly on sight plus I would just use an upscale jutsu and toss a few kunai behind it that way when they stop my jutsu they don't see the kunai coming and would surely hit

Excellent. Also, remember, if they are trying to aim something, it would throw off their accuracy.
One last thing.
How might you get out of this jutsu?

Ok getting out of thus is fairly simpler since your sight is only screwed up so I can punch myself or slap myself hard enough to snap out of it

It's an A-Rank Genjutsu. >.> Not good enough.
Try another way.

Nagashi, One Body Blow, and since it bring an a rank I guess I would need to break a finger or something severe

Better. Or a chunk of your lip.
But, I think Kai would work as well, depending on your rank.
