well Kakuzu can't counter Tsukuyomi, I don't think anyone can take it then break out of it expect for another elite Sharingan user, since Itachi's version only last 1 moment in real life, even if Kakuzu's hearts can dispel regular genjutsu, it won't work on Tsukuyomi, no 3rd person has the time to break out of it.

so if Kakuzu gets hit with the Tsukuyomi he's done, and imagine if Kakuzu has Itachi down in the position he had Kakashi, then realized it was an explosive clone as it explodes, do you think he has the time to react and iron his skin or would he be seriously damaged?
Itachi sets up things like that as good as anyone in the manga. let's say he survives that, how many Yasaka magatama do you think is gonna take to destroy him completely.
plus with Itachi's skills of deceiving people, Kakuzu prob gonna use half of his good chakra reverse to fight a fake Itachi made of crows.

Probably because saying Itachi>Kakuzu no diff isn't true. I think that Kakuzu would lose ultimately, but will still put up a good fight.

amaterasu ends all of it.
Set kakuzu on fire (no way in hell you're telling me he dodges ama) and all his hearts start getting destroyed one after the other. Itachi just sits in his susano'o with yata mirror and waits for him to die.

I like the thread, but the biggest mistake lies in the fact that you underestimate the Amaterasu.

The attack can be fired at an immensely large scale, having been able to cover the Hachibi itself in only few seconds, [

] If Kakuzu gets hit by it while still with the masks inside of him, they'd quickly be covered, and destroyed. Kakuzu may be able to remove pieces of his skin, but he can't remove his entire front side.

The masks would also not be able to survive being hit by the flames. It is obvious that the masks are the center of the power, so Itachi would obviously aim at them, meaning that the masks themselves would be covered in the Amaterasu, rather than the threads, meaning that they can't simply get rid of the part that's on fire.

Sorry, but itachi definitely has this one, Amaterasu is not something Kakuzu can counter.

Itachi has Fire and Water elemental attacks and defense which counters wind and fire somewhat, worst case, ribcage Susanoo would do it.
the masks don't have iron skins, since he doesn't have water element, kunai with fire as distraction and Amaterasu or yasaka magatama as the kill, more than enough.

keep in mind, Tsukuyomi and Sword of Totsuka weren't mentioned yet, 2 of the most effective ways to take down Kakuzu.

Once that happens Kakazu could do his Hard Skin technique or whatever the hell its called, but then Itachi can Amaterasu him, while staying in Susano'o. This will keep on killing him if the flames spread, because Kakazu cannot cut off his head if it is on fire. It would kill him for ever.

I'm glad that you agree that Kakuzu has a chance. I'm too for Itachi > Kakuzu, but Kakuzu won't go down easily.

Thanks. To be honest, I wasn't trying to prove Kakuzu > Itachi. I made this thread to raise Kakuzu's reputation even if by a bit.

Itachi clearly has this, but I commend your effort. Itachi is one of the hardest people to fight man, he has more one-shot techniques than anyone else in the manga. Kakuzu loses, though.
