akatsuki spin-off

if you could pick any member of the akatsuki to get their own spin-off and have it progress how the main series has (the series would start with them as a child and have them grow up) who would you pick. EDIT: CAN BE PAST OR PRESENT MEMBERS

me personally either kakuza or hidan because i stated in a previous post i thought they were versatile characters who i would have liked to see more of but also because they both have had experiments performed on them and it would be interesting to see how they handled them.

Nagato. His story would just be wicked awesome tbh, it would rival naruto right now, in my opinion.


If not then deidara would be my second option. There has to be a reason he got so strong so young.

Kakuzu probably holds the most interesting backstory for a spin off (seeing how he's practically immortal and said he fought the 1st Hokage and lived, so hes pretty old).

Nagato, Orochimaru, Tobi and Zetsu I feel are what most people would say, however I feel that a spin off of them wouldnt really be as interesting as fans would think. We already have a general backstory of Nagato and Oro, and the spin off would be rather short because it would only go up to when the begin their plan for domination before transitioning into the actual Naruto story.

i agree OP. you know hidan got in a ton of trouble before he became an s class criminal. it would also be cool to get an explanation on how the way of jashin granted immortality. you know there was some kinda of crazy baptism involved with all that jazz

orochimaru he never got a solid backstory even though he was the main villian of part 1 and a major villain in part 2 either kishi just failed or he will reveal it when orochimaru is on his trip with sasuke

I can vote for Tobi as his story or life isnt over yet... so that applies to zetsu as well but as for the deceased members i vote for Negato by far. I want to see Exactly how his Transformation took place when Yahiko past on. How did he rule... and what internal struggles did he have even once encountering Tobi.
