Tenten = legendary weapon, rain weapon, explosive tag, weapon summon, kunai/shiruken spamming, Gates
Shino = Virus, endemic, disease, contaminate food and river, insect spying

neji could be that badass lone fighter.
shino can be a spy as above have said.
Ino with her mind jutsu coul be part of an interrogation unit and intel provider.
Sakura and naruto can because they are just strong and powerful...

chouji can be their destruction tool, but they don't need him when pain has shinra.... he is strong enough, but his type of fighting doesn't suit akatsuki's discrete work in the shadows...
kiba and akamaru may not be strong enough for akatsuki, but they could, theyre on the verge
fuk lets throw hinata in to just finish the list. erm her personality and n n n nature may not suit the work...

They do, but adult Kiba and Ino > Itachi? No, if Asuma, Kurenai and even Kakashi couldn't take on Itachi, then the outcome would be no different with Kiba and Ino. The rest seems right tho
