I personally find it very hard to rank the Akatsuki members mate.

You placed Deidera in the lowest rank for example. I dissagree with that ^^ also Itachi is top tier for me with Susano'o, Izanami, Izanagi, etc..

Akatsuki members are somewhat all equally strong but each member has his own style and jutsu. (with exceptions of Nagato, Obito, itachi)

I do agree with Hidan being the weakest tho.

I placed Deidera the lowest due to his type of jutsu much better suited to killing rather than capturing Jinchuuriki.
He only managed to beat Gaara because he hid his bombs in the sand. He also would run out of clay soon because of the Bijuu's massive chakra levels.

The list isn't in order of how strong they are but how good they are at capturing Bijuu.

Konan and Deidera are better than him at capturing Bijuu though. Konan's skilled with her paper jutsu for deceptive and evasive purposes and her paper body would completely counter any physical attacks.

Actually though, I'd have to disagree on Sasuke

The fact that he can just Amaterasu the Bijuu and just lay low until it's close to dying, and then quell the flames is an excellent way of capturing a Bijuu :y

My bad bro!! must've misred that ^^ hmmm I'd say Deidera ain't bad at capturing Jinchuuriki to be honnest? (Sasori said he was unprepared to fight Gaara so that was his fault) but He did defeat Gaara in the end and so did he defeat the fourtails

Anyway; the best jinchuuriki catcher in Akatsuki is Kisame his abilities + Samehada should do the trick ^^

Her sea explosive tags require preparation time to use. Her normal explosive tags is not very suited to capturing Jinchurriki as it could accidently kill them. Also she doesn't have the chakra levels to go up against Bijuu.

She had the chakra levels to set off 600 billion explosive tags.

The way you rate them is from how good they were at capturing tailed beasts? Well then you should put Deidara number 1, since he was the one that caught most tailed beasts, read his conversation with Naruto, when Naruto is hunting him and Gaara, he says he Gaara is number 4 or 5 - and then Sasori, since Deidara also took part in capturing the sanbi, but sasori didn't. Kakuzu could be number 3, but we only know of 1 beast he caught, so it's likely someone else caught more...

I'm going to rank the Akatsuki. The list is in order.
The ninjas positions are chosen and determined with how good they are when capturing Jinchuuriki because that is what Akatsuki is about. This is the reason Kisame is above Itachi.
Orochimaru and Sasuke will be included.

The reason why Deidera is low is because his jutsu is not accustomed to capturing jinchuuriki.

KISAME IS A BETTER AT CAPTURING BIJUU THAN ITACHI, WHICH IS WHY HE IS ABOVE HIM!

Wow people fail for not reading the OP.

I guess it goes like this when it comes to bijuu hunting.

1. Obito (he just warps them away)
2. Nagato (Paralyse them with chakra rods)
3. Kisame (Steal their chakra)
4. Itachi (Genjutsu and stealth)
5. Sasuke (Genjutsu and raiton for paralysis)
6. Hidan (Stab himself in the legs and the victim won't be able to run away)
7. Deidara (Has fire power to pound bijuus but may accidentally kill them)
8. Kakuzu (I guess those black threads may restrain them but I don't think so)
9. Konan (Wrap them up with paper)
