Akatsuki messed up the teams, it shoulda been kakuzu/sasori and hidan/deidara

I like it. A running gag could have been Kakuzu trying to hind Sasori's "heart" and kill him. Tactically, Deidara and Hidan work pretty good - Hidan up close and Deidara in the sky.

Yeah Deidara would be able to spam bombs while Hidan is fighting them up close and there is nothing the opponents can do about it. Deidara doesn't need to worry about accuracy because Hidan is immortal and if anything happens to him Kakuzu can stitch him up later lol.

It wasn't about whether they got along or not. It was about how well the complimented each other's fighting styles. For Kakuzu, his partner had to be someone he couldn't kill out of rage. Sasori and Deidara had the constant battle about art styles.

First you wouldn't want Hidan and Dedira together because both get controlled by their emotions too easily. Kakazu and Sasori being together would end poorly as well since both are strong personalities and are too nit picky. You have to have balance when you construct any type of team. The negatives of one have to be covered by the positives of the other. Personally I like all the teams in place for that very reason.
