Akatsuki members from Strongest to Weakest

Here is a list of the Akatsuki from strongest to weakest in my personal opinion.

#1: Obito (Obviously)
#2: Nagato (Has the Rinnegan, no further explanation needed)
#3: Itachi (Strongest Uchiha of his time. Still the smartest person in the entire manga/anime)
#4: Orochimaru (Immortal. One of the legendary Sannin. Knows many forbidden jutsu including Edo Tensei)
#5: Sasori (Utilizes many different kinds of puppets, the most out of anyone in the show, also uses Iron Sand)
#6: Deidara (No comment needed)
#7: Kakuzu (Has 4 hearts. Can preform all styles of jutsu. Also summons badass elemental demons)
#8: Kisame (Can absorb massive amounts of chakra. Can change the battlefield into a battlefield that works in his favor)
#9: Konan (Can form her body completely into separate sheets of paper that move independently, and use them as weapons)
#10: Hidan (Immortal. Cursed by the god Jashin. Thats pretty much all hes got going for him...)
#11: Zetsu (Used more for reconnaissance, not as much for battle. Really not that strong)

By the way i'm back from being gone for a year or so.
If anyone has any opinions on the list feel free to let me know. ^.^

Sasori (Poison against Deidara and is not affected by Hidan's sythe since he has no blood. He can just seal him)
Hidan (He's more mehh)
Deidara (Mehh also)

It was in the manga when Itachi stabbed him with his almighty Totsuka blade and Orochimaru ended up not being sealed by it. Gaara has proven you can reach into a Susano'o from underneath and Yata Mirror can't reach underneath Susano'o to block attacks.

Every member is strong in his/her one way so it hard to put them in order but i think you did agood job.

This was a tough list for me to make based on my own opinion. Keep in mind though, just because I rank certain characters below others doesn't mean I don't think they're strong. Being apart of the Akatsuki is a feat in it's own right, strength wise.

11. Zetsu (obvious reasons)
10. Hidan (not really a great fighter, and being an extremely close range fighter his weakness of being chopped up is easily exploited without Kakuzu)
9. Sasori (good puppet user with great poisons, but at the end of the day got beat by a grandma and a medical ninja)
8. Deidara (a good long range fighter, but easily tempered. A high ranking strategist could take him out)
7. Konan (the fact that she nearly killed Obito is a feat worthy of a high rank on the list)
6. Kakuzu
5. Kisame
4. Obito (when I say Obito, I mean OBITO. As in pre-rinnegan, since the rinnegan was never part of his original abilities. With that being said, base Obito is over rated. With Kakashi on the other team, any basic teamwork can kill him)
3. Orochimaru
2. Nagato (6 paths of pain Nagato, meaning he's crippled)
1. Itachi (Itachi is number 1 on my list because he defeated Nagato as an Edo Tensei. I don't want to get involved in some huge fanboy war, so I'm basing this one off manga feats alone).

I don't know what you mean by "Were doing this again huh?". I do agree with everything you said except that Orochimaru is stronger then Itachi. While Orochimaru can survive Itachi's Susano'o weapons, he could never survive Izanami being used on him.

itachi proofed to us that he's strongest in this organisation ..
This is explanation why he's strongest and why he should lead akatsuki and I believe even in solo match , itachi can solo any member easily !

I will go quick through them and I will provide good explanation why he is strongest akatsuki member :stfu:





1) deidara: he's so weak againat genjutsu beside itachi already soloed him easily
In matter fact , itachi was playing with him .

2) hidan:his immortality will not help him to defeat the solo king.
Amatarsu is more enough to make hidan wish that he's not immortal .

3) kakuzu: he's so experience in fight and he's dangerous ninja too.
Susanoo and totsuko blade with yata mirror will be itachi big advantage since kakuzu has no counter to it.
I believe itachi can defeat him anytime but with med to high difficulties.

4) sasori: just come on !! He lost to sakura so why I should put him with solo king level ??
Itachi can end him within sec ..

5) zetsu: he's so weak and he's no match !!
Zetsu definitely will run away if he knew that his opponent will be the solo king uchiha itachi.

6)konan: she's fodder comparing to itachi .
Genjutsu and she's gone .

7) kisame: he is the only one who can cause itachi the troubles.
He knew itachi ability so well but itachi will defeat him with very high difficulties.

8) obito: with only one MS , he is no really threat to itachi the solo king.
Obito already admitted that itachi could kill him anytime and that's end of discussion.

9) nagato:honestly I never liked nagato! this dude without his 6 paths is totally useless.
He hide behind mountain inside cave like coward and controlling dead body by his eyes !!
Itachi fought him and defeated him within few sec ..

Amatarsu + totsuko blade = nagato's end !! (end of discussion)

Obito solos itachi nothing itachi has is effective against him. Genjutsu get negated as obito is a master genjutsu user controlling perfect jins and kurama, taijutsu? Obito is better he is a weapon master and even kicks arse with shuurikens ( he got beat by kakashi because plot he randomly got exhausted out of nowhere wtf?) ninjutsu OBVIOUSLY obito juubi sized Katon nuff said, Amaterasu already got owned susanoo and its weapons are ineffective against kamui. Izanami won't work it's a physical genjutsu requiring touch and If obito touches you once you lose. Also nagato beats itachi 1v1 easy it was 3v1 against a handicapped nagato and itachi still had to use a cheap shot and had plot on his side I think nagato should be able to notice his other eye sights going blind.

A. didn't read that I ranked only base Obito. Not Obito with any power ups such as the Juubi
B. are a fanboy
C. I specifically said that I only ranked Itachi and Nagato based on manga facts alone, as trying to compare the two on any other implications is about as useless as trying to compare a Ps3 to an Xbox 360. The fanboys for either will never be satisfied.

Obito can be defeated. Perhaps no easily (hence why he's still on my top 5), but he can be defeated. If someone like Konan could figure out a way to defeat him (and almost succeed), then any major strategist (like Shikimaru for example) would be able to come up with an even more efficient way to go about defeating him. Allow me to restate that before you start ranting without reading the context of what I just said: I did NOT say I believe Shikimaru can defeat Obito, but it doesn't take a miracle to kill him. Konan almost killed him, Danzou's fodder bodyguards made him lose an arm. Minato hit him with a rasengan. The dude isn't as great as fanboys glorify him.
