Akatsuki meets Madara

For a while Pein, Itachi, and Konan thought that Tobi is the real Madara. But if the real Madara were to show up, wouldn't there be any conflict within the group?

No it wouldn't. Most of the group was strictly using each other for their own gain, same thing would continue. There may be shock of obito being madara but that's about it.

Madara told Tobi to gather the bijuus and befriend Nagato for Rinne tensei, not to start a world wide organization. The other ten nine members would feel betrayed and used.

I don't know who would agree or oppose IT since I think pein didn't even tell the organization but everyone had little connection besides the paired groups people (nagato w konan, itachi w kisame, etc) and most of these people had really no connection to obito/masked madara so I can't really see them feeling betrayed

Obito meet Nagato, konan, itachi, yahiko, and Kisame with long hair just like Madara's. They really did believe.
They definitely had they're own goal but why else would they follow a guy who claimed he was just Madara?

This higher members are very smart individuals that won't delve into what anybody just say, because you'll have to be a criminal or an idiot to claim that you are madara just by saying it. You have to prove it in order for people to believe you're madara. Akatsuki besides Zetsu doesn't even know what an Obito really is, so who else would they of thought was the mased man? Obito died before Itachi's birth.

You're right for the most part but Pein would oppose just like Konan did. He believed that the would end wars by using Gedo mazou as an ultimate weapon of mass destruction so that the villages would listen to Akatsuki.

It depends on te situation.

Given Madara's personality, hes not a great leader, and he dont give a **** about working in groups. He's completely individualistic, egocentric, and uses all people that he was related as pawns to his own objectives. After all he didnt care any time to show up or have something to do with them. He dont give a dawn to others, inclusive akatsuki.

So, if any time Madara shows up for lulz, he would force them to enjoy his ideals, and who dont agree, dies. The only ones that I think would follow the real Madara are Hiddan and Kisame. And Zetsu, of course. I'm not sure how Deidara would react.

Konan and Pain would leave and be shocked. Same for Itachi. Madara ideals represent the opposite of what these characters believe.

That's part of the reason why Madara wouldn't stand a chance against these guys.
