Scenario: Through Deva Path, Nagato confronts Tobi(pre-rinnegan) about his suspicious behavior. Tobi denies all of Nagato's allegations. The five other Paths appear behind Deva Path, Nagato challenges Tobi to a death battle. All other members are present and they must choose a side.

Location: Chiyo and Sakura vs Sasori

Fill up Team Nagato and Team Tobi with these shinobi:

Side Note: Let's make this "_________ divides and pick their sides!" thread a trend on NB. Like the "_______ takes the gauntlet!" threads. For example, instead of Akatsuki, how about Taka, Konoha 11, villages, etc?

Team Nagato:
Itachi (Despises Tobi, set-up amateresu to attack him.)
Kisame (Itachi's partner think he will join.)
Konan (Nagato's friend)
Sasori (Wanted to bring down Oro, would be fitting together with Itachi).

Team Tobi:
Deidara (Hates Itachi (hates sharingan users, but specal hate for Itachi. /Tobi's partner)
Zetsu (Kinda obvious)
Kakuzu (Think Tobi's side would be able to make more money, hence Kakuzu's choice.)
Hidan (Placed because of his partner)

I'd give it to Team Nagato on this one,
Kisame vs Deidara, (Drain all the chakra)
Sasori vs Zetsu, (Nuff said)
Konan vs Hidan (Able to stay on long enough distance, blow him to pieces)
Itachi vs Kakuzu (Figure out the hearts and pewpew)

Tobi vs Nagato (Pre-rinne? Nagato takes this with his paths).

Very interesting thread, so i'll give it a shot.

This is a one sided response but i think, Kisame could potentially work with Zetsu creating an army of Samehada Fusion Mode clones (1 was enough to take Killer Bee), along with Kakuzu's Earth Grudge Fear transformation as support with Sasori masking his movements with his performance of 100 Puppets (he wouldn't get hit, he has a diamond density armour). Along with Zetsu planting spores and making a small army, then this could effectively become an army vs 4 people.

Either way, Team Nagato has the edge but i think Team Tobi would take this.

Team Tobi:
Kisame w/Samehada - was extremely loyal to Tobi to the point that he died for him
Deidara - Was Tobi's former partener I believed he'd side with him
Zetsu - He's always sided with Tobi
Sasori - Would probably like the idea of an illusion world since he could become the perfect puppet within it


Itachi - I'm not sure who he'd side with, he wouldn't support ether of their goals.
Kakuzu - Probably would side with whoever offered to pay him the most.

Team Nagato:
Konan - She's Nagato's childhood friend
Hidan - Would want to kill the most people so Nagato's weapon fits more accurately with that

Tobi:
-Kisame (Mizukage link)
-Deidara (hates Itachi/ Tobi's partner)
-Sasori (infinite Tsukiyomi = perfect puppet performance)
-Zetsu (Long line of service)

Nagato:
-Itachi (threatens Konoh + against Tobi)
-Konan
-Hidan (Moon eye plan is peace...doesn't match up with his religion)
-Kakuzu (The plan brings peace...means he can't make a living with bounty hunting)

I would say Team Nagato wins. Hidan is an immortal tank/ bullet sponge that cannot be affected by Sasori's poision. Itachi's genjutsu affects Deidara. Konan can take Zetsu. Kakuzu has both earth element and the use of electricity against Kisame. Nagato's paths and joint vision lead a tough match for Tobi to close in on.

Nagato could technically use the Rebirth tech to revive his team....and had it not been for chibaku tensei and Shinra tensei on grand scales, the rebirth tech might not have killed him.
