Sometimes I miss Akatsuki and with the Naruto ending you can see the importance of the group.
Formed of ninjas gathered from all 5 countries for a great cause, they believe there is more to a shinobi than his village and reject it and the shinobi system, eventually they get in Akatsuki where they can understand each other and are determined to fight to death to prove something that makes them unique individually, resulting eventually in breaking the balance in power, which ironically is what gets all shinobis from the 5 countries connected with the alliance.
They may have been labeled as terrorists, traitors, cowards etc but there was more to them than the world ever knew.
Naruto learned that when he decided to listen to Nagato's story instead of killing him and also when Kisame sacrificed his life to protect what Akatsuki believed in.
I think most of them were glad that there are others like them and because of Akatsuki they can stick to their beliefs and become stronger rather than be captured and killed in their own village, even if their beliefs are strange.
No matter how you look at it,they proved that removing the borders and barriers between people will make a new resolution that eventually leads to great revolutions in people's hearts.Forget about your village and see the world with new eyes.
Damn I'll always remember their big influence in Naruto.
