Nature manipulation is a very advanced form of controlling your chakra, then changing it's properties into the element in which you want to use. First, you start off by actually molding chakra. Chakra is not something just coursing throughout your body all willy nilly, you actually have to form it in a sense. Your physical energy, and spiritual energy, once molded, become chakra. After that, one must simply concentrate on either hardness, heat, coolness and flexibility, sharp and thin, or for us since we are learning raiton, tingly and vibrating.
Shape manipulation on the other hand, is using this already formed chakra into a source of nature or nature chakra to form a shape. Shapes like spheres, cubes, bullets, etc. are all shapes and some jutsu can be formed into these things. It is all attention to detail, and the more you focus the better the shape comes out.
Nature manipulation usually comes first, unless you are just sending chakra into a direct source of nature. Nature manipulation gives your chakra the nature of an element, and is naturally stronger to regular chakra. Shape manipulation, again, focuses on how the chakra will be formed and shaped. Like the water dragon jutsu, you need to form the water chakra into the shape of a dragon. It just doesn't appear like that.

It is wicked fast and tears through almost anything due to it's super fast vibrations. Due to those vibrations, it cuts through earth as if it were nothing, but gets "insulated" by wind if you will. Some people are able to combine water and electricity to form a thing called storm release. An advanced form of raiton is black lightning which is kind of cool. Sasuke was able to put so much senjutsu chakra in his raiton whilst in cursed seal forms that it turned black as well, albeit different to the third raikage and Darui's form. You can also form a raiton shield around yourself to enhance your reflexes as well as your speed if you are gifted enough. There is only one attack that actually uses a natural source for raiton and that is called Kirin, but it requires a fire style jutsu to prepare it. Otherwise, all of raiton is made with nature manipulation.

Neat,but I'll ask you some questions.. I'll write few KKG,HA and I will like you to tell me why is their interaction like that.
So Lighting is strong against Crystal,Steel,Lava,Wood,Ice,Scorch,Shadow,Bugs (obvious one z.z),Blast,Sand (seen in Gaara vs Sasuke fight), Shikotsumyaku, Dust.
Lighting is weak against: Rain ( in some situations ), Dark release, Double weakness against Paper.
Why is Lighting strong against Crystal? or why is it weak against Rain? So pretty much describe me that o__o'

Lightning is strong to crystal because the crystals may be pretty solid, but the fast frequency of lightning's vibrations easily cut through crystal. Lightning can not only cut through steel, but steel conducts the lightning to an extent. If you use a B-rank Raiton Ghan, a lightning bolt shot from the mouth, onto a B-rank steel structure, not only would the lightning conduct onto the steel, but it would also break the steel. Some would prefer just to zap the B-rank steel with a D-rank raiton for the sneaky conduction, that your opponent wouldn't know about. Lightning easily breaks through lava since lava is partially a solid albeit a liquid as well. More like a goop if you will, but it cuts apart the lava. It easily cuts through the wood due to the high frequency vibrations as it would doton. Again, lightning easily cuts through ice since it is just hard, cold water. This proves just because you have a combination of two elements [wind and water] that are strong and neutral respectively against an element [lightning] that is weak and neutral to them does not determine the outcome. On paper, Ice would be the victor, but in our verse, Lightning easily cuts through the glass like creations. Since scorch release focuses on burning from my knowledge, much like fire release only on a higher scale, and fire doesn't affect raiton at all, I am assuming that is why scorch cannot affect raiton. Against shadows, lightning is good to use because it is a natural light. In a pitch black sky, you can always see lightning due to lightning giving off light. Lightning burns bugs to a crisp. Lightning somehow makes all blast release turn into "duds" as seen when Sasuke fought Deidara. Lightning cuts through Sand's solid like properties on a scale, but not as big of a scale as it tears through doton. Raiton is sharper and has higher vibration frequencies than samurai sabers, which cut through shikotsumyaku, so naturally raiton would be able to cut through it. I don't think Raiton is strong against Jinton, but the speed of raiton helps against the charge time it takes for Jinton to charge up.

Let's start off with two very basic raiton techniques,shall we?
Both are projectile type techniques.
For the first one I'd like for you to gather chakra within your body before focusing it into your, preferably dominant hand. Once focused there I'd like for you to release the chakra. On chakra you should use nature manipulation as to generate lighting and shape manipulation as to create a bolt
(Raiton no Jutsu) - Lightning Release Technique

Soon after the chakra is flowing within himself, he starts thinking of tingly things, rubbing his hands across the carpet and zapping people, and vibrations. This gives his current chakra a nature, the raiton kind. He then lets the raiton chakra flow throughout his body to his right arm all the way to his right hand. As he releases the raiton chakra, he uses shape manipulation to lengthen the chakra into a very thin, sharp bolt of lightning. The bolt fades after going eleven meters. Using the rest of his raiton chakra, penguin lets it flow into his right hand and waves his hand in a one hundred and eighty degree arc, from his left side of his face to his right side. As he does this, he releases the chakra and uses shape manipulation to create thin, and sharp lightning bolts that dissipate after reaching far lengths.
Projectiles are very neat, but complicated. If you had a S-ranked projectile, and it splits in half, it would become two A-rank projectiles, and so on and so forth. They can usually travel up to at least mid range, have decent speed, and that other junk. Some projectiles go linear if you don't continue to feed it chakra, like the water dragon bullet since you can control it's movements. Bullets you can control movements to by using chakra go in the path they were going once you quit feeding it chakra. Anything else?

So projectiles are techniques which are released from your body. They can be released from your mouth,your hands,your legs and so on. They are blasted off or lunched at opponent. When you are releasing projectiles you gather and mold a defined amount of chakra. Once they leave users body they are no longer tied to his or hers chakra which means that once you release them you can send another technique to follow them and thus make a combo attack. Not being connected to ones chakra also comes with a disadvantage as you will be unable to change the direction in which they are moving unless technique says otherwise. That disadvantage with which they come makes it easier in a way for opponent to counter them. Now there is one more trait characteristic to projectiles and that is to release bigger number of them towards your target. This will make it for opponent harder to dodge as he will have to go against projectiles which comes from more then one way. But although good thing in a way their size as well as power will decrease as their number increases.
Now onto the last D ranked technique:
Firstly gather chakra within your body and then mold it into raiton chakra. As you do so I'd like for you to focus it into center of both your left and right hand. Once their you should slam your hands onto the ground as you start releasing chakra into the ground towards my clone. As you are releasing chakra you'd use nature manipulation as to generate lighting.

When you are writting speed I'd like for you to take into account the amount of time it is needed for preparation of technique as well as time in which it reaches opponent. Hand seals take quite some time and thus make a technique slower to perform. Speed can be either Slow,Medium or Fast.

Ah I see. Thank you for elaborating on projectiles, Akasha-senpai. Perform the jutsu and describe it? Not too bad. Penguin molds his spiritual and physical energies together to form chakra and starts thinking about thunderstorms. The quick vibrations of electricity, the powerful currents and amps it had. This, in turn, turned his chakra into the raiton nature. He then channeled his raiton chakra into the center both hands. Did I mention I am ambidextrous? Penguin then quickly slammed both hands on the ground releasing the raiton chakra, and it surged throughout the ground. As it was surging on the ground, it took the form of actual electricity, and shocked the shit out of Akasha-senpai's close. Some advantages of this jutsu are that it is really quick, can nullify most earth techniques that would come in close contact with you or form at the ground, you can channel this through water and shock someone leaving them paralyzed, doesn't take much chakra, and it is simple to do. Some disadvantages are that it only goes within short range, it isn't terribly strong, you need to touch the ground with your hands which can be risky, and if you do zap some water you better not be standing on the water. I would say it is Fast. The longest part of this jutsu is slamming your hands on the ground, which doesn't take too long at all. Most raiton jutsu are naturally fast, like fuuton for example, unlike doton. So Fast would be my answer senpai.

That doesn't seem too terribly difficult. I have had harder times memorizing the differences between to and too! Penguin spreads his feet a little until he feels comfortable and starts molding his spiritual and physical energies together until it balances into chakra. As he molds chakra, he claps his hands and intertwines his fingers three times to form the Tiger, Snake, and Dog hand seals. He then thinks about his last jutsu and how it made the hairs on his arm stand up, the electricity vaporizing the clone. This makes his raw chakra into raiton chakra. He then channels the raiton chakra into his left hand and releases it, discharging raiton chakra. The chakra then forms into electricity, and with shape manipulation turns into a current which curves around invisible obstacles Penguin had imagined been there. It then destroyed a medium sized rock about twelve meters away.Hmm that was pretty interesting! Some advantages of this technique is that it can curve around obstacles, can reach long range, and you can hit multiple opponents with it. The bad parts are that you need to keep channeling chakra into this technique to curve it or keep it going, three hand seals are a pain in the butt because people love to interrupt my moves, and whilst channeling chakra into this move you cannot use other techniques. It seems like a pretty decent jutsu, and I would give it a medium speed rating due to the hand seals. Otherwise it would be fast.

I am guessing in our universe, if a lightning attack has a current, the lightning is stronger and faster than unfocused lightning, plus you can shape it's direction. Some advantages would be shaping it's direction, the speed, the power. Currents for lighting are like streams for fire. Those are technique which you constantly fuel with your chakra and your chakra is tied to them. When it comes to currents there is usually less shape manipulation involved. Currents are usually released through a medium which can be a weapon of sorts, ground or similar. Unlike projectiles, currents usually have less cutting capabilities. Now currents always stay in control of a user as they are tided to their chakra which means user has more possibilities in controlling them. But although user can control them more, he can not make a combo by releasing the current and then making another technique follow them. Unlike projectiles, where you can send a projectile technique and send another one to follow it, when it comes to currents you can only do it if you have an ally,clone or summoning next you.

Oh that seems like a neat technique. Penguin begins to mold his spiritual and physical energies together to form chakra as he thinks of thunderstorms and Howard's proficiency in raiton. The chakra within him turns into a shocking type, raiton chakra. He sends this chakra into his hands and releases it, turning the raiton chakra into actual raiton and using shape manipulation to turn the chakra into many different streams. I would use this jutsu in conjunction with a suiton, or mainly to defend from weak doton techniques since the technique is relatively fast. The best way to use this jutsu is to simply knock your opponent off balance with a moving earth core, get them wet as the moving core happens with a stormy blockade made a few feet above the opponent so it takes less time to happen, then use this jutsu to finish them.
