[Discussion] Akainu Underrated; The Strongest Marine

I agree, I think he shares the 3rd spot together with Mihawk and one of the 3 Yonko that aren't Shanks (whichever of the 3 is strongest)
And imo he will become more powerful
But he is not the only underrated Admiral, all of them are underrated
But there is one thing you wrote I disagree with, I think that if the Marines agreed to fight the Red Hair Pirates they would have won (quite easily if Teach would have stepped down) but there would be losses, maybe an admiral and there was absolutely no reason for them to lose an admiral against Shanks, a pirate that is most likely not a threat but most of the time actually helps the cause of the Marines

I'd say Shanks>Dragon>Akainu=>Aokiji>Yonko
I doubt Akainu's Haki is that much superior to Aokiji's if at all. Oda still hasn't explained why Haki laced attacks couldn't hurt Akainu.
Whitebeard used his bisento to pierce Aokiji with Haki but it didn't do anything to him. Based on that Aokiji is also rocking the same shit as Akainu.
If Akainu's Haki is indeed superior to Aokiji's it isn't by much. I think it was a 50/50 one of them was bound to lose eventually, fate chose Akainu's superior resolve as the winner. I mean the only reason Aokiji wanted to fight Akainu was because he didn't want to work under a guy like him whereas Akainu actually wanted to make a difference in the world. We don't know how the fight went though...Knowing Akainu he probably did some sneaky shit like throw sand in Aokiji's eyes...wait nah, thats Kizaru...anyways.

I agree with the majority of it.
Atm i'll say Sakazuki is the 4th strongest person alive.
Excluding Linlin, Kaido and Dragon since I really have not a shred of an idea of how strong they are, so the bit about him being able to beat Linlin and Kaido, i'm not sure about. Plus I think Teach is on the same level as him but slightly stronger. Same for Kuzan, they have been hinted at being pretty equal and therefore, on the same level when it comes to strength and power, although I do think Sakazuki is a tiny bit stronger.
But I agree, he is the strongest person in the Marines atm, from the way he handled Newgate I think it's safe to say he could defeat Garp and Sengoku, even if by barely.

I agree that akainu is one of the strongest people currently alive, but I disagree that he is stronger than Garp.
If you are basing it off superior haki, then I personally believe garp's haki is far superior to Akainu. He did fight Roger after all.
