Alright, before i go to bed Zzz. I really need to throw out this theory. In this theory, I will present an argument for the notion that Fleet Admiral Akainu has haoshoku haki/colour of conqueror. I will explain what haoshoku haki is and provide possible evidence of this from the manga.
What is haoshoku haki?
Haki is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. Haoshoku haki is a special type of haki, that only one in a million people are born with. A person born with haoshoku haki has a very strong will; its most well defined ability is the power to overpower other people. With training, a person can control their haoshoku haki to focus it on their enemies. Another attribute of haoshoku haki is influence: Mihawk considers this the most terrifying ability of the haoshoku haki. People who are born with haoshoku haki are the most likely individuals to attain success in their endeavours. :heh:
Amongst these individuals are Gol D. Roger, Monkey D. Dragon, Monkey D. Luffy, Boa Hancock, Silvers Rayleigh, Shanks and Whitebeard. All these people have something in common: they inspire others and have a lot of allies: Whitebeard had many sons, not biological sons, but men who considered him a father figure; Boa Hancock is considered by Kuju Tribe as the world's most beautiful woman; despite his stupidity, Luffy commands the respect of people like Zoro and has no trouble making friends/allies where ever he goes. Since haoshoku haki is a power a person is born with, it is, according to Rayleigh one or more of the following: "presence", "fighting spirit" and "intimidation". The burst of haoshoku haki may very well be intimidation and the subtle way Luffy impresses others may very well be inspiration. So, you've read what haoshoku haki is and more or less agree with me right? :bouncy:

Akainu was an Admiral and now he's a Fleet Admiral. This demonstrates that, like Whitebeard or Boa Hancock, he is able to, more or less, accomplish his desired ambition. He is an intimidating man, who inspires obedience from the marines working under him: they fear him enough to follow all his commands. Others subscribe to Akainu's brand of absolute justice. But it's more than that, his enemies are intimidated by his name alone. The name "Akainu" was enough to force Blackbeard and his crew to retreat xd. The marines were fighting back even harder when Akainu was injured by Whitebeard; it seemed to really piss them off to the point they wanted to kill every last pirate on the island. Coby could sense the blood lust in the marines at this point... perhaps it's all a side effect of Akainu's haoshoku haki? :dunno:

If you must know why, i made this thread is that some people say we don't know much of Akainu's powers so I'm giving it a good guess i think aha. hmm
