[Discussion] Akagami Shanks or Monkey D. Dragon

So looking at these two they are both if i may say, "father figures" to Luffy. Dragon is Luffy's real father but he was absent whereas Shanks was kind of like the uncle that your family was trying to keep you away from or as i like to say, the cool uncle Lol.

So which one of these do you think will have the biggest role in the future? Shanks is Luffy's end goal whereas Dragon's end goal is the WG.

Who will have the bigger role?
Will they ever meet each other?
Which one will die?
Which one do you like more?

I have this strange feeling Shanks will die, tbh with you. Either way I see Dragon playing the biggest role.

Dragon is going to play a major role.
Unless Luffy becomes important to the RV i dont think they will meet
Shanks death will play a greater role on luffy, so i choose him

shanks is by far the coolest. However I think dragon will play a bigger roll because hes been more omynous

Dragon is the most wanted man alive, while Shanks is actually on relatively good standings with the WG. I cant see him doing anything, considering he's pretty content where he's at. Dragon has a MUCH larger role to play that we havent even begun to comprehend yet.
if one of the two die, id say Shanks just to push Luffy even farther as a character.

Dragon is more important for the story and will have a bigger impact however I can see Shanks dying for Luffy's progression.

Luffy and Dragon will meet each other, but I don't think that Shanks and Luffy will meet.

Shanks will die, Blackbeard will kill him, but I can see Dragon as dead man, as well later on.

Both will be major characters, but Dragon will have the bigger goal.

Highly, highly doubt it. There's no need for them to meet.

Both will die: Shanks' death against Blackbeard is an absolute guarantee. I also think Dragon will die in the early stages of the final arc, at the hands of Akainu after a fight with Kong (Yes, I think by the time of the final battle Akainu will have killed Ace, Sabo, and Dragon).

Dragon has no characterisation yet, so obviously Shanks.
