Did you like Ajin?

I think it was good, but there are a few points I disliked.

1. The animation style.
I'm not a fan of it at all.

2. The Tokyo Ghoul parallels
Not sure if I'm the only one, but I felt like it tried to copy TG in some ways (One eyed Owl = Sato?)

3. The main character.
I don't have anything against 'weak/scared" MC's, but I felt like that his 'development' was all off paneled. In the last episode he decides to free the Ajin and the anime tries to make it look like it was his plan all along. I don't know if it's just me, but I didn't buy that. Also his sister is so cliché and 'anti-nee-san'.

All in all it was good, though and I'm wondering if -and if yes when- a second season is coming out?

Watched the first episode the other night. It was just ok - not completely sure if Im going to continue past the first episode.

Also, in regards to the animation style - at first glance I didn't mind only because I didn't notice anything odd about it. But a few minutes into the first episode I realized it wasn't a traditional anime animation style. I have no way to proof this, but I'm 95% sure this show is made using the same engine that the Ultimate Ninja Storm games use (which isn't exactly a bad thing, Storm 4 is gorgeous and Ajin doesn't look bad, just off-putting once you realize everything is 3D generated)

Lmao ikr. If you like stuff like Tokyo Ghoul or Parasyte you should watch it tho. I'd rate it 6-7/10

Best new winter anime of the year, imo. Was not impressed by the animation style until the last few episodes when we saw Satou be a badass. Polygon Pictures proves once again that it can do good cgi work. Basically this show is good only cause of Satou. Nagai steps up more in the manga. Hope there is a season 2, because this show doesn't stand well at all with just one season.

Yeah, Satou was the best imo. Hope it gets another season even though I didn't like the animation style. It's still a good anime.

No the animation style is continously annoying, hate the 3d style and its the only anime I watched that has it, it just makes the characters look so unnecesarily extra and stiff with there movements.

Music was so good tho, actions scenes were cool and characters I could get behind on all sides.

Plot was a little cheesy tho, things seemed to happen with no basis or explanation.
