There's a reason it's called Gentle Fist. It's not a style designed for mass destruction of its opponents and it's surroundings like fanboys are so hung up on. It's about subtlety, finesse, and bypassing, repelling, or nullifying for direct damage to chakra points.

Air Palm may not be as destructive as other techs, but it is still an effect tech.
