[Fuuton] Air Bending

It was a pleasant day, as Rufus waited in the training ground anticipating the arrival of his Air bending master."I wonder how it is..." AS he stood there, he could feel the breeze pass by him, lifting the fallen leaves from their deathbed and drifting them away. His hair flew back as the breeze grew stronger, but he could care less as he was enjoying every moment of it.

*an odd-looking giant bird swoops down and grabs you in its talons before flying off like a jet. It eventually lands at the large clearing in a forest where Godot and 6 other guys wait for you*

Ok, don't freak out. Well...its a little too late for that so i'll just introduce us. I'm Godot, legendary prosecutor and aspiring sensei. Those six freaks are Pein, my semi-loyal assistants. Before we get to your fuuton training, let's see what you know. Tell me all you know about wind release. Include it's uses, forms, elemental strengths and weaknesses, related Kekkei Genkai, and possible results when mixed with other elements such as Katon.

Rufus was not alarmed like the last time. He knew his sensei was a whack job xD. The lot arrive amidst a clearing inside a huge forest. After landing, his sensei presented him with a series of questions which Rufus replied to his best.

Wind element is one of the Basic Five elements. The basic five constitute of elements that are present in the nature namely, Earth, Fire, Wind, Lightning and Water. Normally most techniques have two aspects when it comes to creation

✦Nature Transformation
✦Shape Transformation



Nature transformation is the process by which a ninja uses his elemental affinity to transform a desired part of his chakra into an elemental form. A ninja can perform elemental transformation by transforming his chakra to resemble a particular element, in terms of properties. After that, by the use of handseals the user can mold the chakra and summon it forth to perform techniques. Commonly, a ninja can have affinity towards 2 elements. In rare cases, ninja's can wield more than two elements or even combine two existing basic elements to create a third element. These cases usually fall under Kekkai Genkai and Kekkai Tota.

Out of the basic 5, I consider wind to be one of the versatile element after water release. Wind style is the art of manipulating air around you or by exhaling your own wind, by the use nature manipulated Fuuton chakra. Wind style users are grnated the ability to manipulate air freely, creating currents, breezes, gales, hurricanes etc.. Wind style jutsu can be considered as the second fastest element after lightning release. Air is available everywhere in the world, which makes it that much more easier to use. Unlike earth release which requires direct earth contact to perform earth style techniques and water style which requires an existing water source, Wind style utilizes the air around the user to his advantage. Wind style techniques have great cutting power and sheer force. This is what makes wind style, a dangerous one.
The relation of Wind style with other elements is as follows:

✦Fire Style: Wind style jutsu's are weak towards Fire style. Fire burns with the help of oxygen and by following that principle, the wind style technique can be easily consumed by a fire release technique. Although size and rank does matter, Fire style has a rank advantage over Wind style. Drawbacks can sometimes be a blessing as we've often seen. The power of a fire style technique can be increased by using it in conjunction with wind release.

✦Earth Style: As seen in nature, strong winds are even put to a halt by huge mountains. The same principle applies here. Earth style is neutral to wind style. As such Earth shields can be sued to block the incoming wind style techniques.

✦Water: Water Style techniques are also neutral towards Wind style techniques. Although water style can be sued in conjunction with water style creating jutsu's with great destructive power creating like typhoons etc. Fire-wind combination can be stopped by the likes of wind-water combination.

✦Lightning: Lightning style is weak against Wind style. The reason is that wind is a natural insulator. As such it prohibits the travelling of electric currents or lightning. Wind style has a rank advantage over Lightning release.

Some KG utilizing wind release are Ice release (wind+water), Scorch release (Wind+ Fire). It also fuels the Kekkai Tota, Dusta release which is a combination of Wind,Fire and Earth.

My training method is straitforward: I post jutsu for you to perform with as much detail as possible to demonstrate your understanding of the technique and its inner workings. Your targets are usually Pein and their summons so you could provide a more "realistic" description of the jutsu's effects. Let's get started.

Since you've never molded fuuton chakra before start by acquiring a strong mental image of the nature of wind (a description of wind's characteristics) and mold a portion of your chakra to mimic that nature. The basic technique requires you to focus a small amount of fuuton chakra in your lungs used to produce a simple stream or wind blast exhaled from your mouth. The same can be done by sending the chakra to your limbs and releasing it in the form of wind. Though weak, this technique has many applications aside from offence. Description: The user will release basic simple blasts or streams of wind from his limbs or mouth to defend or attack an enemy.

Rufus after hearing the instructions, starts to gather chakra from his reservoir as needed. After amassing he needed chakra, he bolts towards the pein while infusing properties of wind on to his gathered chakra, making the chakra lighter and more smoother. The chakra now flows through his circulatory system with ease and fluidity. After successfully transofmring the nature of the chakra into wind nature, Rufus directs a part of it to his mouth and another to his right leg. Upon reaching the vicinity of the pein, Rufus release the fuuton chakra from his right leg all at once, using it manipulate the air around his leg, in order to create a stream of air that is powerful enough to push him off the ground. Using the wind technique as boost, Rufus gains more height than he had anticipated but it didn't bother him. In mid-air, using the force of the wind blast, Rufus performs a somersault, bring his head to face downwards and at the pein's head. With qucik reflexes, he release the fuuton chakra in his mouth whilst compressing the chakra and molding it to create a powerful blast of wind that crashes down on top of his head and possibly result in severe damage(due to the blast being aimed at the top of the head), if he doesn't dodge it in time. Rufus then, lands on the ground slighly crouched and keeps the pein at the back of his left eye.

Nicely done. Now i want you to release fuuton chakra into the air and convert it into a weak gust of wind to spread dust or sand over the ground. It's only effective offensively when blowing dust into your opponent's eyes. Try it out.

(Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes.

After listening to the instrcutions, Rufus begins to draw forth chakra from his innate reservoirs. He then proceeds to infuse the chakra with properties of wind, making the chakra lighter and more smoother. The now nature transformed chakra feels much lighter and smoother. With the aid of his chakra circulatory system, he spreads the fuuton chakra evenyl across his body and then channels it in to the air around him. The chakra quickly infuses with the air around Rufus, subjecting the air around him to his control. Exercising his control over the wind, he makes the air around him gush forward, picking up loose sand and dirt along the way as it approaches the target. Soon the sand particles begin to get suspended in the air, blocking the vision of anything caught in it. The sandy gust falls on the opponent's eyes, making him blind.

Superb. Let's see if you're ready for sets of three. For this jutsu release fuuton chakra in front of you and produce wind in the form of a spinning wall with minor sharpness. It should be strong enough to repel shuriken and taijutsu alike. Now defend yourself.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

Next, jump up and simply blow a steady stream of wind from your mouth to propel yourself quickly in the opposite direction you're facing. Try it out and i hope you don't mind a little incentive. :heh:

(Fūton: Kaze Ogawa no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Wind Stream Technique

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.
Note: The user must already be airborne to use

Now i want you to generate a huge wind stream moving toward your target with enough velocity to carry various debris like boulders and lift your target, who's pummeled by the debris. Here's a good place to try it.

Description: The user creates a huge stream of wind that carries rocks and lifts the opponent into the air where the rocks hit them.

Hearing the explanation, Rufus begins to draw forth the required chakra from his chakra reservoirs. Once gathering the necessary chakra is complete, Rufus starts to infuse the chaka with properties of wind, effectively nature transforming the chakra into wind nature. Using the aid of his chakra circulatory system, he directs the chakra throughout his body and releases it out of his body, fusing the fuuton chakra with the air around him. After successfully bringing the air around him to his subjugation, Rufus proceeds to manipulate the air around him to create a spinning current of wind in front of him, that is as wide as 5m. The spinning current of wind, blows at quite the speed, enough to inflict minor wounds on the human body. The pein upon contact with the wind wall, will get thrown to the side with minor cuts on his leg.

Hearing the instructions, Rufus leaps into the air using his chakra too boost the height of his jump. In mid-air, he starts to gather chakra from his innate reservoirs and nature transforms the chakra into wind nature. Using the chakra circulaotry system, he directs the wind nature chakra to his mouth where he effectively compresses the chakra, make it more dense and compact. For the next step, he spews out the dense fuuton chakra, whilst molding the chakra to take the form of wind, creating a small stream powerful enough to grant him the ability to maneuver in the air. Using this, he maneuvers himself out of harms way of the spikes below him.

For the next jutsu, Rufus begins to draw out chakra from his reservoirs slowly and steadily. Once gathering the chakra is complete, he goes to the next step i.e; nature transformation. Infusing the chakra with wind properties, he transforms the chakra into fuuton chakra and quickly circulates it throughout his body with the aid of the chakra circulatory system. Rufus then releases the fuuon chakra into the air, embedding the fuuton chakra into the air, bringing the air around him under control. Now using his chakra as a means to control, Rufus makes the air around him gush forward with great speed, creating a huge stream of wind which picks up freely lying rock chunks along the path and flings them towards the meditating peins.

Excellenct. Now simply blow a small near-invisible sphere of air at your target. That's it. Think fast.

Description: The users gathers his Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sphere of air at his target that can blow backwards the opponent and small objects around him.

Next, perform the Ram handseal and create a gust of wind which takes the form of several small tornadoes sent at your target. When used with a fire jutsu they become larger and more powerful. Try it out, i've caught a few guys already.

(Fūton: Kamikaze) - Wind Release: Divine Wind

Damage Points: 30 (+10 if used with a fire technique)
Description: The user releases a gust of wind after forming the Ram handseal, that forms several small tornadoes. Combined with Fire Release: Running Fire that forms a circle on ground level, this creates a massive flaming hurricane.

For this jutsu, perform the Tiger, Snake, and Ram handseals and release a vortex of wind from your hands at your target. Basically a wind Kamahameha. A challenger approaches.
