Age of death edo tensei confusion

I'm thinking that a lot of people are getting confused about when certain characters may have died- myself included.

I saw a thread about the age at which/when Hashirama died. Some said old age, which was instantly reputed because he "looks young when brought back with edo tensei."

So my question to clear up the confusion is this- Does the edo tensei bring the shinobi back looking like they did just before they died? Or is it all about preference or, what?

I'm only confused because Madara was really, really, REALLY old when he died. But when brought back he looks as he did in his prime. However, sarutobi comes back looking old :erm:

edo tensei brings them bacck to the point they died at madara was an exception because my boys oro and kabuto played god

edo tensei brings you back how you were right as you died, like nagato died with white hair and he came back with white hair

Madara is a special case. He was tinkered with by Oro. Hashi died old, he did meet Tsunade. Hashi was a great med ninja, he was probably sixty-plus.

Did you read the manga or just read thread from this forum.....??? If you read the manga you should reread the manga once again........when muu summon edo madara...
