Repairing Cells Vs. Creating New Cells

Hashirama's (his cells) repair the damage done to the body (repairs damaged cells).

While The Byakugou Seal grants the jutsu .

When the chakra stored in the Byakugou Seal is released at once, the body's cell division is forcibly stimulated by proteins, reconstructing all organs and all tissues making up the human body. — The technique itself does not regenerate the old cells, rather it hastens the creation of new ones through division.

Putting their abilities into play.

When Queen Sakura placed the Royal Fist on Father Shin,

she fatally injured his liver to point were he needed a transplant.

> With Tsunades healing abilities Father Shin could've (Two Options):

A. Repaired the damage done to his liver.

B. Reconstruct a new liver from scratch.

> With Hashirama's healing ability Father Shin would've only had Option A & not B.

Hashirama's Restoration Power was said to be a level beyond Tsuande's Restoration Power because it required no hand-seals. Although, they are both the same principle, Tsunade medical skills are far superior.

Now, this is the right way to say it.

Yes but Shizune stated cell division can only happen so many times & it shortens your natural life span.

Madara compared her abilities to Hashirama's based on the fact that of neither requiring hand seals but he didn't know the mechnics behind it because if he did have full knowledge of Tsunades abilities he would've deemed them Superior.

I see what you are talking about.... But he wanked Hashirama so her medical skills were not acknowledged.

I left a comment on your last thread on the same issue regarding your misconception of healing doesn't equal regeneration. I'm not talking about Hashirama or Tsunade here I am just talking about human biology. If you cut yourself new cells are used to heal the wound, it doesn't repair dead tissue it makes new cells to fill the gap left by dead cells. So in regards to Hashirama and Tsunade they both regenerate from wounds but just faster than an ordinary person, hence they do the same thing. In regards to which one is better I don't have a clue.

Above is a link for people who still don't understand.

Hashirama's techniques make him immortal as well. He was able to survive against Madara. Enough testament to his immortality. And yeah, Tsunade wouldn't be that immortal if Oro didn't help get her body together.

Seeing as tsunade was chopped in half and had to have her lower half joined to the upper when oro got to her, I think that her healing abilities are pretty much on the same level as hashirama. I think only juubi level healing can grow things such as legs and arms from scratch.

Incorrect, you need organs like your Liver or Lungs to survive.

If Hashirama lost his liver in battle he would be weakened and would need one transplanted immediately.

But if Tsunade lost a her liver in battle she could immediately construct a new one using creation rebirth.

Tsunades healing abilities > Hashirama's

He was able to survive against Madara. Enough testament to his immortality. And yeah, Tsunade wouldn't be that immortal if Oro didn't help get her body together.

Him surviving the battle isn't a testament to his immortality based on feats.

Tsunade was stabbed through the heart (and lived).

Tsunade has her throat slashed (and lived).

Tsunade was bisected (and lived).

Hashirama doesn't have those feats.

Using medical ninjutsu, yes. And that doesn't make her superior in terms of medical ninjutsu.

Hashirama didn't have medical ninjutsu, he had healing abilities.

Tsunade's byakugo no jutsu paired with sozo saisei does not require hand seals either. Hashirama's healing is from his sage mode.
Tsunade's regeneration jutsu regenerates everything building up a human body, while Hashirama's is unable to regenerate limbs.

Tsunade's technique is much better.

What prevents Tsunade from doing this? Limbs are not built from tissues that are more complex than for example organs. :| And she has already shown to regenerate the same tissues that build up limbs.
And then there's the fact that she actually said that her jutsu regenerates even limbs.
