Again, Itachi Was A Hero. Who Agrees?

- Itachi actually SAVED his brother, as opposed to letting him die.
- Itachi tormented his brother so Sasuke would kill him and become a hero of the Leaf, redeeming the Uchihas.
- Itachi did those things with Kakashi and the others only to keep his cover.
- Itachi could have killed Jiraiya, but chose not to.
- Itachi and many others admitted that he was dedicated to the village and did everything he did to make the village succeed.

VERDICT:

Itachi was a hero.

Not everything can be cookies and rainbows. Sometimes hard decisions have to be made in order to protect something greater.
Would you be able to do something terrible to prevent something even more terrible from happening?

An amazing character in terms of things he does for the sake of the village and his younger brother, yes.
But when I think hero, I think Naruto. Somebody that doesn't sacrifice others, something that Danzo made Itachi believe was okay for the greater good when it could have been avoided due to Lord Third's kind heart.

Biggest Hero in the NV, other than SO6P. Without him undoing Edo Tensei no backup would have arrived for Naruto and Kages would be dead right now.

1. Killing innocents for your self ideals is not heroic.
2. Heroes don't kill their families , who were already segregated.
3. Heroes stand for the segregated, and dwell on Justice
4. All could've been avoided if Hiruzen undid what Tobirama did.

What part of killing innocent people because your "Boss" feels its the right thing to do is heroic. Even Itachi knew it wasn't heroic.
