Earlier I posted a thread stating my beliefs that kaguya became the juubi, now allow me to explain the chain of events which will back up my theory, using hints and clues provided by the manga. Its a long read, so be ready. Some of these points are thanks to my other Kaguya theorist Lightbrighter.
After reading make sure to see my key points as to why she really is the Juubi.
People say that she is the reaper in the reaper death seal, while I agree, there is a big resemblance, I highly doubt it is her. Here are my key reasons as to why
How did she go from being a god-like person into becoming a forbidden jutsu?
Other theories people have had.
In the past, Kaguya using her Byakugan spotted the fruit in the tree. Back then the tree was in complete bloom so the fruit would be hard to see by the eyes of normal people. She probably either wondered what it tasted like, or assumed she would gain godly powers. So up she climbed until she reached it. Eventually, she was able to finish the entire fruit in whch she noticed her powers had boosted greatly as she expected. With her new found power, she travelled the land and eventually stopped all war by taking control of the land. It was also shown she could somehow control weather, or at least create lightning storms.
People began worshiping her for her god-like powers. Eventually she fell in love and she had two sons. Overtime, her will to protect her sons, along with her ever growing powers began to make her corrupt. She started using her powers to make the people of the land her slaves by using what could have been the "Infinite Tsukoyomi." With her being the only person who wielded chakra other than her sons, there was nobody to stop her. Eventually, because she ate the fruit, it started having a reaction to her body. She began to mutate into a monster. As she became what is now known as the Juubi, she began to angrily rampage throughout the land, causing destruction everywhere she went. The two sons had no choice but to stop their mother. Together, they were able to seal her into Hagoromo.
several years later, he saw his younger son, Ashura choose the path of love and friendship and watched as he bloomed and matured, compared to Indra who was solitary and alone. He realized that Indra's path led to ruin like his mother's while Ashura's path lead to new possibilities. He then separated Kaguya's chakra into the tailed beast, and due to extracting was weakened. He was able to then remove Kaguya's monster-like body into a gigantic chibaku tensei to ensure she never would cause havoc again.
Fastforward hundreds of years, Madara upon awakening Rinnigan is able to somehow connect with Kaguya and summon her down to earth. Could be that since he was Indra's reincarnation, he was able to telepathically speak to her which is how he summoned her, and knew how to utilize the rinnigan. Fastforward several more years. Obito, by fusing her body, and her chakra again, she was reborn into an incomplete form. Eventually, as the battle went on she slowly began to shape into the monstrocity that caused havoc so long ago. Using her power to control the elements, she created a gigantic storm which decimated the alliance. upon seeing Naruto's chakra, she recognized her son's powers and that her chakra was inside of him, making her realize he was her son reincarnated, and that she would be defeated again. So she bagan charging her chakra to prepare for Naruto, specifically targeting him as Shikamaru theorized. She is eventually stopped by Hashirama, and then absorbed into Obito. When Minato called out to Obito, she was confused and responded with "Obito?" as if she had thought that she was returned to normal, but instead was once again sealed inside someone. During the battle, she was trying to take over Obito and transform into her original self, usng Obito human body as a catalyst. But he was able to stop her. As the Juubi Jin, Obito sprouted the Shinju. But inreality, he ended up separating Kaguya from him and her chakra that was still inside of him in the form of the tailed beasts, which is why when the tree began to blossom, her sharingan was shown. As she became the tree, she began trying to absorb her chakra from the alliance since their chakra was technically hers from the beginning.
Later, As Madara now the juubi jin was being pushed back, she once again communicated with him, telling him to absorb her back into his body to become one again. Madara then absorbs her into him, with her eyes showing foreshadowing her reemergence.
Remember, in his story, his mother's fate was NEVER explained, never mentioned if she died or anything, he only gives the hint of, his mother's "sins." meaning, her eating the fruit was a sin, and as a result, she was "cursed" and mutated, and as a result, Hagoromo and his brother had to deal with her "sins"
The uchiha tablet is Hagoromo's account of what he precieved to be how the world was and how things went down, but he could be wrong about the actualy events that took place.
And that is Kaguya's full history, not 100% accurate, but more accurate than the uchiha tablet, lolol.

After reading make sure to see my key points as to why she really is the Juubi.
1. If the tree REALLY was after its chakra, wouldnt it have stopped Kaguya while she was chowing down on it? And if it was after its chakra why was the Juubi destroying everything? why didnt it sprout roots and regain its chakra instead?
2. The God tree is just a giant tree, the ancient people referred to it as a god tree because honestly...there was no other tree in the entire world that was that big, I mean, it made mountain ranges look like a sandbox in comparison, of course ancient people would call it that. It does literally mean that the tree was a god. The fruit was there so that when the tree died, its seed was fall into the ground and grow again. But since Kaguya ate it, she herself began to mutate into the tree. The fruit in a sense was cursed.
3. If the Juubi's sole purpose was REALLY to just gather its chakra back for the tree, why did it have a giant sharingan, the same one that Kaguya was only suppose to have if it was supposedly created from a tree, it wouldnt have a concious so genjutsu wouldnt be possible for it especially since people back then didnt have chakra except for Kaguya, Hagoromo and his brother, why did it have a mouth it didnt eat people? why did it have an ear? it wouldnt need an ear. I will tell you, because it wasnt created by the Shiju, it used to be human, it used to be Kaguya.
4. Kaguya was shown to use lightning, or create a lightning storm, Gedo Mazo was shown to use a lightning attack, and the Juubi was shown to create a gigantic thunderstorm that ravaged the entire area, I think Kaguya was able to do such feats.

How did she go from being a god-like person into becoming a forbidden jutsu?
1. Some people say she made a deal with someone to become inmmortal. REALLY? you think someone as powerful as her would need to make a deal to become inmortal, wasnt that what infinite tsukoyomi was for? isnt that why Madara is wanting to use it? to rule the world forever? Why would she need to make a deal when she was technically already immortal. I mean, eating the fruit I imagine would make you immortal. And really? becoming a forbidden jutsu who only comes out once in a while just to seal souls? No.
2. Nobody in her time could use chakra, nor could they even use jutsu. The only two people who could do sealing jutsu were Hagoromo and his brother.
3. Couldnt have been the uzumaki clan. UNLESS the uzumaki's were actually once upon a time Kaguya's clan, and they all came to seal her. But honestly, she would be able to spot them from anywhere using her byakugan and kill them quite easily before they even got to her. UNLESS they took her by surprise. But even then that is unlikely. The ONLY thing that this theory has is her looks, whereas the juubi theory has way more evidence.

1. She made a deal with the tree to become immortal. Ugh...that would be really generic and not even remotely creative.
2. She made a deal with a god(s)..noo, just nooo. The kishi will have to go into detail with that as well, and then start throwing in gods and whatnot...that is so un-narutoish. Yeah there was Jashin, but it was just a religious cult, kishi explained that it was a forbidden jutsu, and that as long as Hidan kept killing, he would stay immortal, the moment he stops, his immortality would go away.
