'ello All,
I've not written a new chapter for AlterOne in god only knows how long, and may be some time still before I get into...okay no, I was about to lie. I just checked and I seem to have just about finished Chapter 17 and just never got around to putting a close on it, so I guess fans who are still out there have that to look forward to soon enough. Anywho, I don't have much of an excuse for not writing, but I had to write an independent scene for a fiction workshop class and thought it'd be the best time to pull myself out of this rut and continue on with my work. The assignment was to write one scene with only two characters and I wanted this scene to be impactful, and keeping in mind I've got AlterOne intricately lain out already, I knew just the scene to bring to life.
It's completely independent of the current AlterOne storyline and is set in a "prequel" time period years before the start of the story I've been posting. No prior knowledge is needed to go into this scene but if you are a fan of AlterOne and actually remember the plotlines, this will be a major spoiler for a few upcoming chapters as some character arcs are still tied to events that took place in the years before the first chapter began.
