Kishi really took his time showing off Madara's power level all this time. He has been trolling characters chapters after chapters, getting power-ups after power-ups, but greater the ascension and more humiliation comes the downfall. It's kinda like when Obito got a taste of Jubi's power. When he one shoted Tobirama, Hashirama's clone, Hiruzen and so on, everyone thought he couldn't be defeated, that opponents would need power ups and so on. Nothing like that happened

In Madara's case it would even be more humiliating considering his current power should be on a completely different level than Obito's as Jubi's Jin. I get the feeling latest chapter was only the start of Madara's following continuous fail.

After ascension, here comes the downfall

Like you all know, Obito/Kakashi trolled Jubi Jin Madara with their kamui too hard

Next chapter, Gai would be on the play and judging by the hype of surpassing Hokage level, it's safe to assume he could severly weaken Madara(Caterpie i'm stealing your picture here)

After that, Tenten will come to play by using those weapons on Madara

Then Sasuke will awake and play the main part in curbstomping Madara like it was foreshadowed

It's odd to me because Alive Madara doesn't feel like he's been around for very long. It's pretty obvious whats goign to happen anyway, Guy and Kakashi delay him until Naruto and Sasuke return and then the fight becomes even. Depending how things go it could even be the finale of the fight.

Also Naruto getting the 1 tails and 8 tails extracts and potentially the Sacred Tool from Tenten, we could be seeing a pseudo-sage Naruto Uzumaki anytime soon. Which sounds awesome to me.
