Although the Anime is still not finished we know how it will end, and there are only a few episodes left.
So this rating is based on Naruto (original run) and Shippuden. I'm putting everything into play here, animation, music, pacing and writing (additional wrtiting). Not fillers.

The rating might surprise some of you.

Final rating 8/10

Yes thats right, its one rating better than the manga, the main reason being the amazing music and at times brillian animation. To be honest mostly the soundtrack and great fight-scenes made up for the high rating.

Your final rating, and how long have you been wathcing?

The manga desreves an 8/10 the anime deserves a 8 in the beginning 6.5 as it went on because of budget reasons overall but a 8-9 on some days.

The anime does a good job portraying some scenes but overall i think it needs some touch ups. Music however is 10/10 i can enjoy the manga more cuz after my first read thru ill read it again with an appropriate oat and i promise you the feels are there.

the anime used to animate epic battles in an awesome way but as of now, ever since obito became a jin seems as if the budged got cut in half, they had so much good material to animate and after obito became jin i havent watched a single episode that doesnt dissapoint me, overall i give a7 or 8 because of the epic music and the battles that were animated very well

6/10-7/10. The animation is horrible compared to most anime. The Naruto series is one of the greats in influence as a manga. It deserves more respect from its animators. As an anime, it's sub-par.

The only reason why it's not low is because they'll get clever at times and add good things, and the manga was good to begin with.

Manga score 9/10. I've personally haven't been into any manga to this degree. Other media like anime and fate/stay night's visual novels I have, but as a manga, not much else holds a competition to me.

I give it an 8.5. Would be 9 if not for Kaguya. This has been one of my favorite series. I prefer it to One Piece and Dragonball (contrary to popular opinion).

I rated 9, but possibly would even rate 10, but there are some stuff I didn't like personally and as you mentioned, Kaguya kinda ruined it for me. IMO Kishi should have sticked with Madara as main antagonist or Black Zetsu as main one.

Been reading/watching since the Chuunin Exams.

Gave it 7/10 because development was lacking towards the end where it should have been most heavy hitting.

-Sasuke's revolution was short lived and he turned completely 360 on that when Naruto didn't even counterargue his ideas.

-Naruto: We never see "his answer" to Sasuke's ideology, or Naruto's philosophy as Hokage. We still are seeing him as the kid who talks about how he feels, but doesn't quite have all the answers yet. Even a single panel to show his change would have made this complete. (His panels with bolt were okay, but not what we needed)

-Combining these two, we never see an answer to the Yin vs Yang theme. Sasuke and Pain both bring up the argument that people with free will choose war and hate. We don't see Naruto's alternative to these ideas. Instead we see a Good vs Evil fight, with Naruto obviously being correct here. There was no compromise, no solutions, and no cooperation towards the goal.

-Naruto and Sasuke part ways. This should have hit people like a ton of bricks. It didn't. We never see how Naruto has intellectually changed, we don't know Sasuke's goal/purpose now (we have a decent idea though), and we don't see that Yin/Yang compromise. The fact that they aren't working together (even loosely or unofficially) sort of counteracts what Kishi led us to expect.

It was a good action manga. It tried to run with some big ideas and got pretty far, but where the manga had been strong at before with characters and development, it started to lack at the end and gave us an incomplete feeling resolution.

Anyways that's my opinion and review.

7, lel those Naruto vs Pein animations.

if everything was at the level of animation like Madara vs the SA, Lee vs Gaara or Obito vs Kakashi it was easy 8.5 at least, but it's probably impossible for a series that long.

This.

Honestly a 7 is a generous score at this point.
