As I stand across from my opponent, I quickly activate my chakra sensing and chakra enhanced strength. After doing so, still appearing to you as if I haven't moved a muscle, I channel my moku into the ground and cause sharp roots to erupt from the ground below you. The roots all have properties similar to a thick steel cable. I make roots go through the soles of your feet, right below you, and then more erupting all around you, wrapping up your body while piercing through your chest as the finale.

For this entire battle im going to reply with the first thing that comes to my head. Expect some RNS.
As the boring little wood thingy pokes Ichigo in the foot he generates lightning chakra into his feet which will destroy/nullify the wood(no homo) while allowing Ichigo to dash before Hashirama while also palming his face and drive his face into the ground. All in one motion of course. Sure Hashirama could sense the chakra buildup under Ichigo but not make out that it is lightning chakra and lightning chakra that would give Ichigo the ability to dash. Such attack against a renown Taijustu master isn't expected. The palm of lightning to the face would leave Hashirama in a state of shock should it connect.
Raiton: Raiya Houchou (Lightning Release: Lightning Arrow Step)

If no contact is made between the ground and the user's legs, this is unusable. There is a downside as the user cannot change directions once the technique is initiated, thus allowing a more skilled opponent to dodge if they see it coming.

As my wood is destroyed and you disappear, I follow your presence thanks to my stout sensing ability. I rear back my fist and quickly punch forward with extreme power, this punch meets your palm and overpowers it, breaking it and sending you backwards. As you slide backwards, I channel my chakra into the earth below you while throwing a shuriken, causing four large spikes to erupt from the ground and interrupt your momentum by impaling you in the legs and chest. In the midst of all this, I weave a quick set of handseals, causing the shuriken I threw a millisecond before the earth technique, to multiple into a thousand copies, completely blocking your vision of me.
