I'm new and have checked the help threads but im still sort of confused....

I hate to seem stupid but in the threads it says what 'REP' is however....

How do you give 'REP'...? Please can you give me some information...

The green flag on the top right of each post
And when you do something nice people rep+ you

Rep is given to you by pressing the green flag next to your gender symbol and then you can add reputation and leave a comment on why.

You can also negative reputation people. Generally this is done to people who are "acting a fool" or trolling.

As for it use, it lets you qickly surmise how much you want to value someones's opinion. By looking and the combination of number of posts, compared with reputation you have a good idea how well they are respected on the Base.

How many posts do you need before you can give positive Rep instead of Neutral Rep which counts for nothing...?
