Sakura.
Ok ok up to now nothing makes sense, right? Well let me explain what I want to say. In the past month I've read several threads explaining sakuras role in the Naruto verse. I have come up with an idea that adequately fits her role. I say it is adequate but others might think otherwise.
Sakura will bring back the Uchiha bloodline by having Sasukes baby. There is no other role that will fit her as nicely as that one. She is completely in love with Sasuke. She will do anything for him. However he doesn't seem too fond of her though. BUT in the first part of Naruto he said he had objectives that he had to complete, which again were:
1. Have his revenge
2. Bring back his race
So in a way he already scratched off one of his objectives so he still needs to finish the next one. He has two options Sakura or Karin. Well he tried to kill both already but he didn't come as close with Sakura. So he still has Sakura for an option. Knowing how Sakura is I wouldn't doubt that she would bed with Sasuke if she had the chance. Her child will come with the Sharingan and then there will be even more in the future. That's what I think. Who thinks this is totally lame?
