I feel like the last shows us Sasuke is only getting stronger.

Only Naruto got rusty from all the paperwork of transitioning into a new age of technology and peace between the villages.

They only seem especially weak in Boruto because no ninjutsu and they were chakra drained as well.

I imagine we will see adult Naruto & Sasuke go all out at some point in Boruto anime.

They could have used some of that logic in the Boruto movie. Clearly Kaguya/Vote 2 > Boruto ( Got stronger since immediately losing SO6P hax as teens) > The last.

Although VOTE 2 Sasuke was shown to have more firepower than Adult Sasuke, i would still have to say Adult Sasuke is above him. In the last, Sasuke's base chidori vaporized a meteor that was going to wipe out atleast half of the village . Not only that but in Naruto Gaiden , Sasuke became able to use Amenotejikara multiple times even when his Rinnegan is overused, a feat that VOTE 2 Sasuke cant even do. He also blitzed and absolutely bodied Momoshiki alongside Naruto after he lost a shxt ton of chakra due to teleporting the 4 kages, boruto , the other 2 lab scientists and himself. Thats a total of 7 people he wasted his chakra on other than himself. He was able to use that same Susanoo that he used in the FV since in the boruto movie, when he wrapped his Susanoo around Kurama against Momoshiki, it was the same exact design as the one he used to store the tailed beasts inside ( aside from the lightning and the human being inside of it ). And in his weakened state, he was able to slightly overpower Kinshiki in the beginning of the movie after again being weakened from teleporting to Kaguya's dimension.

Great points but you forget he is fighting himself..

VOTE 2 Sasuke by far has more chakra than Adult Sasuke due to the Bijuu. If it wasn't for Naruto's insanely OP powerful jutsu SAsuke wouldn't have burned all his chakra up trying to compete with his RAW power and would've used his chakra more tactically.

Other points:

Adult Sasuke has 1 hand. A Huge disadvantage especially since skill wise VOTE 2 Sasuke has enough skill to take advantage of Adult Sasuke's Handicap

VOTE 2 Sasuke has Ameno as well and since Adult Sasuke lack all insanely powerful abilities Naruto has. Sasuke can use the chakra to combat his Ameno and susanoo thus closing the gap in chakra / stamina.

One could argue more advanced Preta but as i've mentioned before Adult sasuke having 1 arm puts him at a HUGE Disadvantage as now he must use Kenjutsu with 1 hand negating his other path abilities. (Shadow Clones may work but this was never clarified) but even then its a tough situation as VOTE 2 Sasuke has Ameno and clones as well.

Lastly, you talk about strength but you have to remember Sasuke was fighting Bijuu mode Senjutsu enhanced Naruto who is by far stronger than Adult sasuke will ever be physically speaking not overall power. To say that is an advantage for Adult Sasuke is false ESPECIALLY since he only has 1 hand now.

If Adult Sasuke had 2 hands I believe he would beat VOTE 2 Sasuke as he can now use Kenjutsu AND path abilities to close the gap between VOTE 2 Sasuke's enormous chakra reserves mid fight

well idk all of that. Sasuke's reserves are much larger since he can dimension hop , plus VOTE Sasuke didnt even take that much chakra from the bijuus.
Adult Sasuke beats VOTE 2 Sasuke in speed,durability, reflexes, strength, chakra reserves, intelligence and every other category. The only legitimate part that VOTE 2 Sasuke beats him in is firepower and thats only because we havent seen Sasuke fight seriously like that since then so who knows

Adult Sasuke wipes the floor with him due to mastering Teleportation alone. He's moving through dimensions at the cost of a small cool down. His chakra reserves are insane now. V-II Sasuke's BPS won't to shit bar the offense as it never absorbed the Bijuu Chakra anyway and held it like a container would. Indra's Arrow is shot back in Sasuke's own face through Teleportation switch.
