In the games, he did this in a filler fight scene (Sasuke battles Madara's four Limbo PS as well as Madara's giant main body PS in the sky). Really wish that scene made it in to the Manga. The fight against JJ Madara felt rushed, and he stopped using his old techniques like Susano'o and Mokuton (I'd rather he used them on a higher level).

OT: Sasuke can use clones, but would be a bigger risk for him wasting that Chakra, whereas Naruto can spam them. It's like Kakashi / Minato using them; Sasuke has way more Chakra than they do, but his Doujutsu also require far more Chakra. Sasuke is in the God Tier, so the only opponents this would matter against are Ootsutsuki-level. Sasuke's clones could still be very strong, but only because he's that powerful; the use of clones might still be a waste / handicap more than anything.

In VOTE 2 fight - Sasuke ran out of chakra same as Naruto after fighting all day, I dont see a problem using shadow clones + PS

Yea they're kage bunshins. He told Boruto that kage bunshins should be Naruto's specialty then used it himself to motivate Boruto.
