My boyfriend is adopted and I asked him about how he felt about the latest chapter and Sakura more than likely being the adoptive mom. I also showed him some of the base's comments about how Sakura is a bad mom because she didn't tell Salad the true. My boyfriend said Sakura probably though that telling the true would hurt Salad but he also said blood doesn't always determine true family. If the person cared for you and took care of you than that would count as true family..blood related or not.
He also went on to say Sakura and Karin made a deal to share Sauceman and Sakura let Karin screw Sasuke but he was joking about that.

This is exactly the message Kishi wanted to convey. It's why he had Sakura get so worked up when Shin described parenthood as nothing more than passing on genes; to Sakura, and to Kishi, the most important thing is that the parent provides the child with love. Sakura has raised Sarada as her own, and loves her... and Sarada has benefited from it. She's a lot like Sasuke could have been if he always had a loving home growing up.

Good thread, but Sarada doesn't even care, if fact she doesn't even give 2 shits about her anymore.
