Bio**: Edward despite his young age is a Alchemy prodigy due to his intense studies. When he was 5, he and his brother dabbled in the extremes of Alchemy in order to bring back his dead mother. This resulted in the death of his brother and the loss of his right arm and half of his left leg. In doing so, Ed also saw all of the secrets of alchemy. This gave him the ability to use alchemy without a transmutation circle.A mechanic later stitched him up and gave him a mechanical arm and leg. Without parents he was eventually taken into the care of foster care a year later. Even at 6, he was showed prodigic signs of alchemy. He put it to use through pranks. After a year the foster home could not contain Edward. He was then enrolled in the military school, Rivercreek. This was to teach him respect, how to properly use alchemy, and become an asset of the military. None of which occurred. Edward still plays pranks but has become more serious with age. He repeatedly skips class and studies alchemy on his own time, currently had no wishes to become a "dog" of the military, and respects only those who respect him. Even still, his skills are widely known and has gained the nickname "The Fullmetal Alchemist"
