[Suggestion] Adding a Light Novel Discussion Section.

Just as the title says, I think it would be cool if we could incorporate a Light Novel Discussion section into the M.A.C Discussion.

Meh, Light Novels aren't as popular as manga, nor can many get their hands on them to read them in the first place (I wasn't ever able to find the Black Bullet LN myself. ._.). But I think you are allowed to talk about Light Novels and such in The Konoha Library, as it's still considered a novel.

Making a Light Novel group can be cool as well, just a thought.

Though of course, it isn't a bad idea at all.

True, but most Light Novels are easily accessible online via baka tsuki. From what I have seen comic's aren't very popular on the base, but they still are included, so I don't believe popularity should be considered that much and I know a fair number of members who would welcome the idea of a LN section.

Konoha Library is like a ghost town though Lol, a Light Novel Section would be way more active if it's placed within the M.A.C IMO.

I toyed with idea with of making a group, that option is not completely forsaken yet.

Well in a way, wouldn't a LN section share the same fate as the Konoha Library section? Because if you think about it, not many people really read Light Novels here more than manga. The first step we would have to take in order for people to even talk in a Light Novel section, is to build an even stronger Light Novel community. Through that, we would most likely be able to have another active section.

Plus, Light Novels tend to take longer to read than manga. So if we were to make a discussion thread for a LN series or such, we would have to wait at least 4-5 hours before anyone even posts something in a thread like that, implying that they read the volume before posting.

I'm not completely disagreeing with this suggestion, as I would like it aswell.

Not really, if its in the M.A.C more people will see the section, opposed to it being placed in the Konoha Library.

In order to grow the community more threads about Light Novels need to be made, which can easily be done if we put more effort forward.

Or members can always discus the chapter they just finished reading or so. Most chapters take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour to finish, depending on how long it is.

I mean it isn't like I'm demanding we put this into play, I just feel it would be nice for the members who do read LNs and it would be a excellent opportunity to grow the community of LN readers on this site.

I like the idea, but like RT said, most people aren't interested in LNs, or at least that's what it seems like, but maybe making one will attract readers
