Add text onto image without compressing

Hello, am in need of some help. Have tried to add the text onto this image but I would like it to have some space on the left hand side and right hand side.

The font for the text needs to be Garamond. This has been proving to be a big hastle for me if anyone can do it would be greatly appreciated.

The first image attached contains the text that needs to be added onto the image. The second image is the image backgrouns for the text to go on.

This wasn't as easy as it seemed lol, but I found a way to do it. Let me know if it needs touching up I saved the psd
