So I was rereading some Fairy Tail Chapters and I noticed how Acnologia had the power to reap souls and leave people at a half dead state

and then I noticed how similar it was to Rahkeid's power

Could they have the same magic? Can only a person with similar magic to Acnologia defeat him?

Yeah, It was confirmed a long time ago that Acnologia used Dragon Slaying Magic as opposed to regular Dragon Magic.

I'd say DSM is a lower form of Dragon Magic unless you develop it as well as Acnologia did, because we all remember what DSM did for the Slayers back at the GMG.... Not much
