What's the difference between acids and bases? The science term lol.
I don't remember, but isnt it something like acids: orange juice and bases: milk

I wasn't at school since I'm sick and I ave to label things in my house that's acids and bases. xd

Sounds stupid for homework but it is what it is. :p

Skip the titrations though and fruits that are sour in taste(orange, lemons etc) contain citric acid and hence are acidic, milk is neutral i believe but it might be a bit acidic due to the lactic acid in it,i believe around 6.5-6.9 is on the pH scale.

im learnin same ting
there is a ph scale which shows below zeroe are extreme acids above zeroe are extreme bases.
the difference between acids and bases is that, acids turns blue litmus paper red and bases turn red litmus paper blue. also bases are slippery and are used in cleaning materials. while acids are tasting sour- but dont go around tasting them some are poisinouse :D . acids are opposites of bases, equaly charged acids can cancel out equaly charged bases.when acids and bases react they form salt.
hope tis helps

all you have to know is difference right? well the difference is that acids and bases both react strongly with other chemichals but acids turns blue litmus paper red and bases turns red litmus paper blue. also acids have a sour taste but bases have a sopey apearence, and it is in cleaning products. its that simple.
ps if u get this wrong which you most probably wont dont blame me :D

the ph scale is basically a scale of hydrogen ion concentration.

acids give out hydrogen ions (h+) whereas bases will normally give out hydroxide ions (OH-) which has thw opposite effect of a hydrogen ion...

soory if this doesnt make much sense as i cant give you a proper explanation without probaly frying your brain.... (its way more complicated than this...)
