How strong was ace do you guys think? Highest known bounty at 550m do you guys think he was admiral level or just barely under admiral level? Also how strong do you think he would be if he made it after the time skip?

He has conquerors haki, not sure about others

He had Conquer Haki but didn't master it, he could only use it when he was in distress like luffy did.

He was not Admiral level because he didn't know haki but he was a High Tier character with a Devil Fruit that was extremely OP.

He was on the same level of Jimbei I say he was Mid Vice Admiral level

If he had mastered haki he would be HELLA STRONG

he had haki yes, but at MF Oda didn't fully have teh concept of Haki figured out so noone at MF used Haki as much as we have been getting post TS, at MF Haki was just briefly mentioned here or there, there were no black fists, ...

he is imo between Dofy and Marco in strength, so no he is not admiral lvl

Ace is around VA's level IMO... Though his background and ideals were what gained him high bounty...

Among the top tier of OP, he only is there because of his mastery over his DF...
w/o proper Haki usage in battles, pretty much none is fit in the top-tier...

VA level ranges from below Bartolomeo (Meynard) to basically Pirate King level (Garp)

I think he was good as using Haki, not on Garp's level or anything (mostly because he was only 20), but still very skilled, but no that is not enough for him to be Admiral level, he was too young, he would eventually have been Pirate King lvl if he didn't die imo

Like most of the posts, if he had mastered Haki, I think he would be Admiral Level+ . I would even say that he could be Yonko or Pirate King Level. Before timeskip he was a beast, and after the timeskip, not a lot of pirates or marines would have been able to match him in a battle.

He had the potential to Rival Luffy at the EOS.

It may of been a running gag on the G-2 part, but I highly doubt that people who are captains on Whitebeards ship are

under vice admiral level, if so that means Tashigi would be stronger than Ace.

That's why I asked Op if that counts for anything...

Ace set fire to a ship that had a vice-admiral in it

Even if Tashigi is only a captain she can use Haki, and point being is that if Ace cannot match a VA than he might as well be under her level.

You should try and put 2 an 2 together to get what is being implied here before reply this post.
