Ace had to die for the story so him not using it at a point where his fate was set isn't solid reasoning, also how do we know he didn't use it at the end? Ace's body solidified enough to stop Akainu's fist from traveling through him and hitting Luffy, Ace's body should have either went intangible at the attack or seeing as Magma Magma is > Mera Mera and Akainu>Ace the attack should have kept going through to Luffy but instead his arm stopped inside of Ace's body inches from Luffy's face and remember that punch was meant for Luffy, Ace intercepted it, how does a logia intercept an attack with his body without bosu haki? And let's not forget Ace had been in cuffs for days leading up to the execution and was only freed for mere minutes before his death, to say he'd be tired seems obvious and we've seen haki cn run out as with Luffy so Ace may not have been able to use much haki if he had it anyway.

No it wouldn't go right through Ace because it was a single punch covered in magma fire. The magma punch is going to destroy everything equivalent to the hole shape of his fist. And last time I checked, he did not punch a whole through WB, he used his open palm to dig it into the wound he received from Squalo, making it to open up even more.

Otherwise Crocodile who has been in the impel down even longer would be complaining about what his excuse would be. Once you are released from the seastone effect you are restored to your original state just like Crocodile, Marco, and Luffy (jitte tip) did. You're argument for Ace isn't making much sense at all.

I didn't say he punched through WB I said he punched into, and it was an open hand but not digging into an existing hole as you're trying to downplay it to be Akainu's scar appears higher than Squards stab point

, and if he can punch that deep into WB why wouldn't he be able to punch clean through Ace who is much smaller and doesn't have near equivalent defenses? How would a magma punch from an opponent who outclasses you with a DF that outclasses yours not go through you if you used no defenses? There's no way Ace's body would tank a magma punch from Akainu when we've seen it pierce tougher opponents.

We're not talking about him using his DF we're talking about haki and haki is reliant upon stamina which Seastone depletes and we saw Luffy stay groggy for a few seconds after releasing seastone prison bars before, he doesn't always jump right back up. Using your DF and using haki aren't the same thing plus none of those are equal comparisons, Croc had been freed of his cuffs since ID which is a much longer time frame than Ace, Marco was freed minutes before but not in them as long as Ace was and same for Luffy the Jitte tip was a small amount of contact time. A Logia DF can't run out or at least nothing in the manga has indicated it(Law is so far the only DF user who says his DF uses depletes as his energy does too) but Haki can.
