Good, I'm not saying all crocodile fans are like this, but whenever I see a versus thread about him, there is always some people who will say he wins or gives the other opponent more diff simply because they like him more. And people say Croc isn't overrated.

Ace stomps and yes Ace does have haki when people like Boo or Tashigi can use it and because he didn't show it doesn't mean he doesn't. Doffy never showed haki in marineford, but since the timeskip started displayed at least 2 types(armament and conqueror). Mihawk never displayed haki in marineford, but we basically learnt in latest chapter that armament is his speciality. Ace was just unlucky to only fight the final antagonists of this manga. Crocodile level fighters are too weak to kill his boredom

The initial Hiken hit him by surprise. Ace was not expecting Fiery Doll to work, which makes it all the more confusing as to why he didn't use Haki. We've seen a Logia being struck off-guard.

Evenso, the flames were remaining on his body. After the initial hit, any intangible logia could have leave the flames phase through them, but it was continuously burning him until he used the darkness to absorb it inside his body
