You don't have to focus your chakra to make an animal, just shape it into the animal you want to make.

Can I just teach him
C-1 makes small animals form birds to spiders.(Chakra= 15, Damage= 20)

Thats about the equivalent to a C rank jutsu...

Can i teach him that for now, and then the rest when he gets a higher rank? He won't use it in battle.
