Is there any way of changing/lifting the restriction to type forum password temporary in order to change your email settings, if you cannot access your email? (if you forgot your password to email, but still have access to NB)

Note: I forgot the password to my NB account.

I have an old account that I tried to ressurect instead of creating this but the mods said it was impossible without the email, I had changed it so, it's lost out there in cyberspace being electronic garbage.

But you are signed in, aren't you, so it must be saved in your browser?

Is your password filled in automatically, or not? If so you can change your password as well as email.

Also if your password is saved on your computer, you can probably find out the password.

I tried that. My situation is a bit complicated. Its my fault. But what I suggested make it easier on me. Anyway, I'm finding another way.

NB's login system is heavily dependent on IP. You can bypass the password attempt limit by changing your IP. It uses cookies to save your loging status, but will kick you out when it detects a different IP address from the one used initially to login. Since you will be forced to login after changing your IP address, the only thing you can do is extract your NB password from the cookie saved in your browser, change your IP address, login to NB, and proceed to change your e-mail.
