I haven't watched the fight yet but by your description I'm guessing the studio made Sasuke absorb the Tailed Beasts chakra when he balled them up?

Someone starts to understand that Sasuke + 8.5 bijuus cannot defeat Naruto + 1/2 bijuu.
Wind is the weak point of lighting, so it's not shocking.

Sasuke never absorb all the bijuu chakra. If he did why would he attempt to get more?
